    I'm waiting on my water softener to take a shit here soon. That's gonna be an $800 repair with plumbing, and doing it myself. My water is too hard to bypass it, so it gotta be replaced! :pout:

    Ouch. Both of mine were dumb and embarrassing.

    First one, tweaked my back when camping. It happens sometimes. But this one, somehow it hit a spot that caused a muscle spasm, and after I got home, that muscle would throw my back into an unnatural arch like I'm reenacting Linda Blair, over and over again. So I'm on the floor, involuntarily throwing my back out, over, and over, and over.... Finally at 5am I say fuck it, let's take the ambulance ride. My out of pocket for that one was a little over $3500. The disc is wearing thin, but this one was still all muscular. That's kinda embarrassin

    Second one was the very next damn camping trip. Took the truck and trailer as we always do, and also as we always do we parked the brand new Mazda in the garage. Somehow while we were gone my extension ladder leapt off of the pegboard and thrashed the hood. Fortunately, only the hood, no other panel. Unfortunately, I've gotten two quotes to date, 2 grand to replace and paint. :mad::mad: That just don't sound right to me, I feel like a new hood should go for half that. So I'm still shopping that one.

    My unexpected expenses have all been home related. I did kind of expect it though. Haven't lived here a year and several expensive things have taken place. There's one I won't mention anymore, but it's looming. Gonna ride it out as long as I can before the county see's it... :anonymous:
