The block heater has a thermostat built in, it will cycle on and off just like the furnace or water heater in your home.

You can save some money by putting the heater on a timer, have it come on a few hours before you intend to use the tractor.

Buy a decent timer similar the below, no need for fancy digital displays, the important parts are a 15 amp rating and grounded (3 wire) plug.

Pretty sure I've slept more in the past 3 days than the last month.

 

Blinked a few times last night while on shift, clocked out at 0600, and hauled @$$ home to just jump in my buddies Tundra to drive an hour across state lines for class for the next 3 days.

I’m thankful this guy is an amazing instructor other wise I’d be snoozing away.

Old Forge is, in fact, dubbed the Pizza Capitol of the World...self-proclaimed, anyway. We do have a ton of pizza parlors/restaurants in the area - the 150 number really extends up the valley from Old Forge (a relatively small community) to include Scranton and the up valley cities. There are lots of good choices.

The reno is on the old farmhouse on our property - my mother-in-law is still there. But, we have guest rooms in our house just up the hill.

Couple 14 hour days upcoming with some late work and meetings but think I’ll take Friday and maybe see if the Mrs. wants to take a trip up north for some pizza.

Good morning PA. Speaking of pizza, has anybody in the Pittsburgh area tried Pastoli's in Squirrel Hill? We have to go into the city next week and since my grandson has Celiac disease, we have to find gluten free pizza. This place was rated highly online for gf pizza. I have eaten at Mineo's and Aiello's, but never this place.
