    Hi crew:pccoffee:
We're going to be shutting her down soon:ohsnap:
I'll be on day shift at least and with any luck the repairs won't take long. Hopefully I'll just have to work through the weekend then my regular Monday off and be finished up by then.
Also pray that this shutdown won't be the first of several. A person in the work field hears much of the goings on through a shutdown and this one it sounded like some shoddy work going down.

Nothing more than a dusting of snow here in S.E. Nebraska so far but the cold looks to be setting in now. Western NE got hammered a little and all roads West into Colorado closed for awhile yesterday, says the news.

I got in the queue for the light on my way for work and just happened to be the sucker with his rear tires on a patch of ice...

Funny thing, I just looked up the definition for ‘dedication’ and there was a picture of you sitting at your desk, completely alone

    Happy Birthday @Taco critter

Sorry to hear about your BIL @koditten , amazing examples of generosity on your part.

I hope Sadie feels better some @six5crèéd . Hope it doesn’t spread amongst the family :(

I'm actually surprised schools closed today.

I haven't looked at official snow totals but in my driveway I've had about 7" between the two times I've blown it. But there supposed to be more coming, too.

Thanks for the condolences, guys and gals.

I got to be with him at the end.

We got him planted last week.

It's time to remember him, but move on as well now .

Why not just sit out on the back porch with a cold beer and hit your big toe with a hammer every couple of minutes?

More people slowly streamed in. :) In my area we're only down 1 right now because he's out sick.

The bad part is when you get stuck at work for an overnight.

Then of course the Electric goes out.

That happened to me last winter. Out of all the times a sheriff's deputy was waiting at the end of the road to catch speeders and stop sign runners. I just about slid through the intersection and then when I went to go I just spun. I was like "oh come on ya SOB!" I knew that guy was sitting in his SUV just laughing at me.

Actually that was the last little ice storm we had. Almost lost the truck that night going home. I was bumbling along slowly coming up on an area where a side road comes to. A car looked like he was going to fast and wasn't gonna stop so I just barely tapped on my brakes. Ass end of the truck swings hard, I thought "welp, this is it" but I didn't really "react" to it and let the truck do its thing. Came out of it luckily.

Couple months before I was following this older Camry and they were driving sorta like an idiot. They continued on the same road I take (they had PA tags and likely going the same area I was) and they were just kinda driving a little too fast for what I thought that car was capable of. Well they finally jerked the wheel to hard and slammed hard into a light pole. I had to put the truck into 4WD and go around in some guys yard to continue on. So, why didn't I stop and help? Well, I had my window cracked the entire time following them and would get whiffs of weed, and a pretty good one when they wreaked. If you gonna be dumb like that, I'm not helping.
