Looks good trimmed. I want one, preferably with blue wheels but gold works too. This one has "airport mode" it must really fly lol

I did a thing this past weekend and picked up a used 2014 Multistrada 1200, so now I can keep up with my fam and their 1200GS bikes. Going to post my Rally for sale and see if there's any takers. Not too worried if it sells right now or not, it's a great little bike for around town.

There are a few for sale here in CO but this one suited my pocket book(new ones are definitely $$$) for my first Ducati and the dealer just did the 15K mile service along with new tires. They will also be replacing the front rotors since I found that they're warped on the short ride I did.

i really want gold wheels! my buddy has a set of blue i could trade you if you get gold lmao

and what is airport mode lol

the one issue with trimming is you have to relocate the battery box since it gets in the way depending on how much you cut so it will be something i play with here eventually

Airport mode sounds much cooler than airbox mod haha. And not a fan of that exhaust either...

Do you have the FCR39 carb on your bike?

I was wondering if anyone else came across Dave Moss 2 clicks out vids? I have gotten hooked on them. 40 years of riding and I am relearning basics I forgot.

He had an ergonomic vid that was so simple but made sense. I watched his video at 10 pm and was in the garage with an 8mm at 10:30 adjusting levers. Something so basic as lever position made a huge difference. My brake was too high and I was doing exactly what he said, accelerate to brake. Another words having to roll the throttle with the wrist to get the fingers up on the lever.

Felt so comfortable along with his suspension settings I took a ride this am in the cold. Spun the tire in second not realizing the tires were not up to temp yet.

Now need to decide if I do my gear swap before sending my ecu to get flashed by Moore Mafia.

nah i dont so according to my buddy that has it "the fcr39 is a waste of money if you dont have a bigbore and hot cams" ive ridden his bike and mine is a lot snappier and a bit more fun but if he went big bore kit he would blow mine out of the water

Yes, love those vids! I got a book recommendation from a very experienced rider that walked me through suspension setup, but Dave's vids go a long way. Made understanding the concepts a lot easier but, like you noted, I've forgotten a lot of it because I just set it and it worked well enough that I didn't really mess with it much afterward.

Ooof! Be careful! That's how I slid my F4i 30 yards down the road while turning... :anonymous:

That guy definitely knows his stuff. He does a lot of clinics at local shops in SoCal. You pay whatever nominal fee and he'll get you on the bike, sort your sag out and tweak whatever suspension you have to optimal settings. His free videos are good, but I can't bring myself to pay for his content.

Did an initial fitting of my Ilmberger bellypan. Everything fits like a glove on the right side of the bike, but the left side needs some encouragement.

This tab doesn’t line up correctly. With every other mounting point fastened, it all lines up nicely except for the kickstand making contact on the downward swing. If I force the tab in, it bows the panel and makes it look weird. I may end up just trimming the rear half of that tab off.

Overall, I’m super stoked on it! This thing is a piece of art! I hate the idea of rock chips all over the bottom of it.
