They can't keep the Hyundai Santa Cruz on the lots. I think there is a huge market for a smaller Toyota truck/pick up what ever you want to call it

I think that's a pretty cool little truck. I'm a big fan of the Maverick too.

Mini-trucks have always been awesome and it's good to see them coming back.

What's not good to see is the "not a truck" or "Barbie" truck gang coming back. It's a lame trope. These small trucks have been super popular and with the price of fuel will only get more popular. No one cares if you're too "cool" for them.

For what it is and what it's suppose to be, I like it. I would DD it(when not riding my little Rally) and turn my truck into just a camping rig

Ya like I said I don't know what it will or would look like but I do like the concept of it. I bought the Tacoma to haul my sxs it is my 3rd Tacoma but I had a few Ravs in between them all. I don't need to tow 6000lbs....I throw the young fellas hockey bag in the bed and to take my supermoto to the shop here and there. It would be all I would need. Don't get me wrong I love my Tacoma but being honest with myself I don't really need it.

If Toyota is all about heritage, I do hope they keep that name.
    I’d buy it regardless.

Hmm more of a suv with a bed. Yes there are people on here who off road or camp with their rig. But honestly say 50% of the people on here could just use an suv with a bed they just want their wiener to seem bigger with their truck lol. Groceries, home depot runs,

Seems odd to me that Toyota would create a whole new vehicle to compete with Maverick and Santa Cruz, when all they would really need to do is bring back a US compliant HiLux.

That being said, Stout is a heritage name for a Toyota truck, for those not old enough to remember or know.

I'd buy one in a heartbeat if they designed them like they did fifty years ago!

Sorry but if Toyota want me to continue buying their vehicle they're going to have to change directions with there designs. They be gettin' uglier and uglier and now with dumb ass names.

I think the next Hilux will be sharing the same frame as the Tacoma and Tundra so that would make zero sense to bring here. They can modify the existing Rav4 Platform to create a mini truck that will have a lower price structure.

Had not heard about that - Does make more sense, if that's the case.

I have also seen this out there, and believe me, I HOPE it is true! I also hope it gets good gas mileage like the Maverick Hybrid, and if it does, I will be all over this one! I like it!
