Picked up a bed molle panel from all pro during the Black Friday sales. Not the easiest to install with a canopy on, but got it in & it fits great! 686B51A9-41C3-4903-BBF3-ED470472839C.jpg

First attempt at a top…still a work in progress but it’s functional.

Done by me: decals, plastidip, and vinyl. More to come. Not done by me: Icon front/rear suspension; Total Chaos UCA’s; Method wheels/34” Falken tires; Prinsu cab rack/LED light bar; V1Air compressor piped to a 2.5 gallon underbed tank; Pelfreybilt front/rear bumpers; Smittybilt front winch.
Absolutely! Any time I can help prevent someone else from making my mistakes, I’m happy to!

I went with .120 wall for all of it,(2x2, 2x3, and a small chunk of 3x3 for the tire support) and I’m glad I didn't go heavier or lighter. .120 was easy enough to weld without burning through, yet not heavy enough to where I needed a second person for the project.

Shoot me a PM if you go to tackle it and need material length estimates of what I used or anything, I’ve got most of it down or I can measure it!

I bought all of my material off eBay when I couldn’t get a response from my local steel supplier, so I’m probably in it for more than the cost of the full 4X diy kit, but I’m fine with that.

Thanks again. .120 sounds right to me also. I have a steel suppler local and could pick and choose what I want. Let's see how good santa is this year and I might build one! I'll hit you up if I do.

I do like a good yellow fog over a white light. Side note: fogs are supposed to be at the lower end of the headlight to fill in the space between it and the road, did you aim them after install?

With the pocket. There is not really a lot of adjustment. It was an initially mock-up and will try to readjust this weekend.

Are you talking about this line? How much lower should the fogs be? I was told by BD that they are Wide Cornering Lights.

You have to not be facing a wall to adjust fogs. On a roadway you can see where your headlights cut off on the bottom, where the beam scatters and becomes just a little bit of flood, that whole giant patch of road directly in front of your truck is where fogs should be aimed.

Below are two different beam shots, but you can see the fog spill in them. Don't pay attention to the headlights in the second pic, those were LED (and high beams) and are gone since I did the ultimate H4 headlight upgrade.

Perfect. That makes sense. I’ll definitely take a couple shots on road and keep you posted. Thank you for the visuals.

Looks like you caught some kind of little creature looking up at that mailbox on the right side of the picture. They're sneaky little buggers!

That cheeky little turd usually hangs out around the bushes at my front door. Sometimes he even gets festive for the holidays.

He has a cousin who hangs out around my desk

Over the last few weeks I got new fenders from Advanced Fiberglass Concepts fit mounted and ready for paint, widened my ARB bumper to match (might make another cut for aesthetic purposes) and am moving from skinny 33s to wide 35s. Most drastic change I've done to the truck so far!
