I really thought there would be a bungee cord in there somewhere, but I can't spot it.

That's what's holding the payload to the trailer.

Went out to get ready to go to work. Started the truck without paying attention to the lights as I don't have my dome lights come on with the door. Closed the door as I was letting it warm up and I was talking to one of the foremen.
    Click.
    Fuck.
Key fob does not unlock the truck if the key is in the ignition and running. Now, I am locked out of my truck and my spare key is an hour and a half away.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
That is stupid. What I like about my tree-fiddy is the door code. I can leave it running with the doors locked and still get in.

    Yeah.
Years ago I was a valet parking attendant at night clubs and a dude's Lincoln locked itself in the driveway. It was super busy and a huge club in Dallas, couldn't find the guy inside. We eventually cracked the code and got it moved.

Yep. Tried to get the hood released through the grill, but that was a no go.
3 things I am giving my truck for Christmas. An air horn, a new door pin switch, and a few spare keys to put in random places on the truck and in my trailer....
Key got delivered and I was able to get to work 2 hrs late. Thankfully, only had one truck show up right after the key got dropped off and I was escorting my folks off the mountain (they dont have a CB). So, I just had him wait for me til I got back.
As payment for them picking up my key and bringing it up, I ordered them a handheld CB for their truck.

There are some TURDS out there that are using VERY "official-looking" email and paperwork with "paypal's" logo on them! How do I know -they almost sucked me into a fraudulant situation. Figured it out beforehnd bty checking where the paperwork was coming from, by the URL

Sent me a request for money, and the note was "we think this may be in error, call this 808 phone number to process this and collect your refund." It looked like they were trying to trick me into accepting the request and making the payment, then calling the phone number.

So...I called the phone number from my work phone (VoIP). Either our outgoing firewall or the phone company blocked it.

I merely refused the request and blocked that person...then changed my PayPal password and double-checked that 2FA was still on.

I've had PayPal forever, but it's very rare I get a request for money. I usually check the sender's address. I'll get official looking emails pretending to be a bank from silly addresses like 477656gjgjb@gmail.com. In fact, I actually have a fake request in my spam box now. The sender definitely looks fishy.
