Had to take advantage of the 20% rebate stacked with Academy's 10% off promotion. Now i got to get to cutting off all the d*** barcodes. Also go the oldest kiddo a Wildcat, figured i'd give it a try, since i have a bunch of 10/22 mags, to go with mine. 10% off and a $25 rebate.

Wife already wrapped the Wildcat, but he's gettin this one. Should pair nicely with the S.Co Sparrow i have.

The Wildcat is winner IMO. Picked up one last spring, put a TR-25 on it at the same time. Fun plinker! Your kiddo is gonna be all smiles!

I may end up shooting it a bit more then him, lol. Everything else is too damn expensive to shoot on the regular. Last weekend we pushed up a 6 foot berm with the tractor, on the back of our 20 acres for them to plink into. Managed to roll the front tire off the rim too, that was a b****. I gave up trying to get it back on the rim after an our or so.

Took more than 48 hours, but just finished (minus scope on one) yesterday.
Moved the Origin with 6.5 Creedmoor barrel to the camo KRG, and put a TL3 with a 6GT barrel on the Foundation.

Yeah, .22 has been our go-to since the craziness started. In fact, Santa just picked up a pair of Rossi RS 22's on sale plus $25 MIR. Reviews look favorable, Cheap fun! HoHoHo....:D

The dead air mask is what I'm going to use my silencer shop guft card on. Is it pretty quiet even if you're not shooting subs?

Very quiet on the ears it still has a crack down range but definitely hearing safe at the gun and with a pistol they stay subsonic with the suppressor 99 percent of the time

I finally found an Emissary 1911. I am very impressed, the fit, finish & trigger are awesome!---cross posted to 1911 thread

I got a Sparrow last year, on S.Co's buy one get one promotion. It gets a lot of use on my Mark IV. Supers stay subsonic. Grown men giggling quite on that too. None of my .22's or 10/22 is threaded, so kinda looking forward to my son's Wildcat, lol.

Suppressed 22 is the best. We still can’t get over the novelty of having a conversation while we shoot with no ears on.

on the rifles try CCI standard velocity. It stays just under the speed of sound in a rifle barrel but cycles way better than subs.

I'm gonna look for that. Love my .300acc too, but at $0.90 a round for the subs, it doesnt get near the use. Its no hearing protection as well, with the can. Really makes me want the 8.6 blackout, but just cant justify it (dont have a can that will fit it) yet, lol. Want the 8.6 to snipe my yotes that kill my chickens/cats, without waking the wife and kids

I just picked up a Tisas B45B bobtail commander 45 acp from Classic Firearms. Transaction went smooth as could be. Fit and finish look really good and the trigger pull has a little take up and breaks clean. Going to the Gun Range tomorrow to check it out and will report back with the results. I've read a lot of good reviews on these Turkish made firearms and have been wanting a commander bobtail for quite some time. Here's a link for those who might want to take a look.

How do you all store your home defense handgun? Bedside table in holster? Easy accessible handgun case? In your safe? Trying to gauge what is reasonable and those more experienced than I usually do. Granted I do not have kids, just a couple dogs and myself. If you also are feeling keen on more advice.. do you transport in a mounted holster in your truck? Some type of lock box secured to your truck? Or are you a open-carry/CCW, always attached to you when driving kind of guy? I appreciate the input from those willing to offer as I want to educate myself further in every area I can. Cheers!
