To start with just a bed cover and ski box. in fact I haven’t decided what type of rack I want. Something over the bed or a box for the roof. I kind of also like the LED light bar in the hood scoop. I wonder who sells those?

    Strangely enough very minimal
    markup.
Toyota of Kirkland is horrible with markups. Something like 10k on PRO’s. Nasty!
It was roughly a 2 1/2 month wait to get her. I was OK with it.

What is the netting and what is the safe ? Never heard of these as factory options.
    Congrats on a future classic.

Honestly I would have skipped the rack likely as well, but it was part of the build and it couldn’t be reversed. I will install a Yakima or Thule ski box on it. The drawback of a 5-foot bed is placing skies in there without having to put them diagonally. She also comes with some paint protection, the safe (also something I honestly don’t care about)

I've yet to see solar octane in the flesh, but it looks amazing in pictures so I can only imagine how it much look in person! Congrats on the truck and definitely kudos on the 6MT.

It is a cargo net that you pop over stuff in the bed. I believe it can stretch to fit the whole bed or be sectioned-off. The safe fits in by the front armrest. Small little safe that has lockable code. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me to be honest. Maybe if I had gun. And I can’t since I live in both Seattle area and across the border near Vancouver.

It’s bright! Those two pics were at the dealership after dark. Not sure how it will look during daylight.
But living in the northwest we tend to have a lot of gray weather in the winter. She will lighten things up a little

That looks so damn sharp. But I don’t think that soft bag can take skies? Too short? And that color on the 4Runner…damn that’s nice.

Fuck yeah they did. That’s why I’m not getting bed cover there.
Has anyone used a soft cover? The flip covers I’ve had in the past are more secure, but I also dislike having block the view backwards when flipped up.

Aren’t all cars/trucks/SUV’s usually considered female for whatever reason?

Not to make this a gender party

Look for me on I-5! Especially Seattle to the BC border.

Also they added the locking tailgate. That one I’m happy about.
But I have to give Toyota some shit.
1 - how could a locking tailgate not be standard
2 - I’m big on stereos, and to “punish” someone for buying with a stick shift but not getting the JBL system is just ludicrousness
3 - same with not getting keyless entry. Maybe it will be fun using a key to fire her up again. Hello 2002
