It was . Marinated all day in red wine ,garlic ,couple bay leaves ,and an envelope of Lipton beef onion soup mix . There one in the fridge now for tonight

 

No, looks rare to me.

Anyone else have a secret marinade they want to share?

 

Italian salad dressing with a bit of Worcestershire sauce and marinate for 24 hours.

 

1:1 italian dressing/moores is strangely pretty good too!

 

in a bowl , 12 oz of beer non lite, i actually use bud, 14 oz of kikkoman soy sauce, 3-4 tablespoons of ground ginger, then a lotta garlic powder, and a bunch of finely chopped fresh garlic, 5 or 6 good shakes of pure sesame seed oil, you should be able to smell it, let it sit. so i jar it, put what i want marinaded in a ziploc, dont smother your protein. venison needs an hour or so, chicken needs more time. i usually use the low sodium (green label) kikkomans
lasts quite awhile in the fridge as well

 

Thats how its done there

 

1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup soy sauce
2TBS lemon juice
3TBS basalmic vinegar
1TBS worchestrrsire
2cloves garlic
1/2 TEA black pepper
1/2 cup of Dr. Pepper.
pinch of citric acid (if you have it)
4-8 hours marinade. pat dry,grill to @ 135*

 

Been a handful of years since I've had an animal in the back of the yota. Got a nice blacktail this year and feels good to be using the yota for hunting again
