Mine is just nailed onto the wall with pipe hangers. Definitely a mickey mouse retrofit, but I really like having it where it is so I kept it with pex

 

You should refeed that with pex. According to their product data, the line can freeze and the plastic will expand enough so it doesn't burst. The brass valves may be another story, but it could at least help the cause.

 

That's the plan, may put a sink in instead on the interior wall, would be far more useful

 

Putting a sink in the garage was the best thing I ever did. Laundry room on the other side of the wall so quick and easy

Edit: Also nice to have hot water available for cold weather outdoor cleanup

 

Exact same setup I pulled one of those out of my parents house last year to put in mine. I have 2 exterior windows on the interior wall that drive me nuts so I think this winter I may be ripping it out to put in a sink and frame a huge mirror in the wall. Most nights after working and then rushing home to cut hair the motivation wanes you might say, but now it's got to get done!

 

Do the additional spigot at bottom of sink like I did. That way I can hook up a hose and still have the sink available...and the "Employees Must Wash Hands" sign is a must

 

Is that hot water? Or just red by convenience?

I've also toyed with a hot/cold outdoor hookup too for giving the dog baths. Anything ~45° or higher I just let 'er rip with the hose, but it's definitely cold sometimes.

 

Cold. Just what I had laying around...use it mostly for electric pressure washer. If I need hot water I hook up to the sink faucet

Oh no crap you weren't exaggerating about cutting hair, I thought it was like you cuttings yours and some friends/family or something.

That's how it started, then working for someone's shop, during the shut downs I took it as an opportunity to slow down and be a lot more selective in who and when I cut. It's been much nicer this way, albeit more stressful but workable!

For those who don't know what is going on here...

 

This. Some of you might remember the bathroom pipes busting on me long ago. I had it redone with Pex. Has only frozen once quickly and even at that it didn't bust.

We ended up with around a foot of snow here. I will have to measure what's on the car hauler to know exactly.

It was very localized. A few miles down the hill it was mostly rain and a few miles up the hill got 2 ft.
