    New ones don’t have the holes, just dimples. Use the top center dimple to hook your gaiter into, just punch a tiny hole and use duct tape to cover it. Piece of 8 gauge wire shoe goop-ed to the heel will hold your bindings. You’re welcome :D

    got boots! :woot:
    went to a local sporting goods chain that i figured if i was going to find anything locally they were the best bet. they had one pair in my size left and were 25% off. beat Amazon's price by almost half and amazon said they could ship them until after christmas. didn't bother looking at any other stores, figured that was good enough.
    also got the last of my christmas shopping and errands done so hopefully i dont have to go back into town until after the holiday. gonna be a mad house this weekend.
