Is it okay if I BRING my harbor freight welder?
And if anybody needs anything welded we can try to knock it out in a day or sum :welder:

I'm sure no one will complain if you want to bring your welder.

Mine is semi-portable (I borrow my neighbor's small tank when I need to go somewhere with it). I also much prefer to weld on 220v as opposed to 110v - I get better welds.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Ask away, I don’t like search bars..they are a pain in the ass. If someone has problems with anyone asking for answers, they will swiftly be kicked in the pants.
There ain’t no forum/thread jockeys in this group. This is the south…sweet tea and pecan pie; or at least that’s what I say when I loose control of the wheel!!

    And welcome to the group…Brapp

Nothing wrong with that, we all started there more or less. But by all means ask away in here because I feel we don't have a douche canoe here

Possibly, my dad got a Yoter so he gave me the Green Egg, gotta practice a few times before :D

Shouldn't be a problem, just not sure on the electrical hookup

Are there any mod days planned anytime soon? I'm in Gwinnett County. I just received the parts to swap out the U-joints and carrier bearing on my truck. I was thinking it wouldn't be too big a job but the wife keeps telling me I'm too old to crawl under the truck LOL.

Has anyone here done “the big 3”, upgraded positive and negative cables on your truck? I’d like to pick your brain

Hope everyone is doing good. Just a heads up I just finished up a CMR for a guy in his 3d gen Tacoma. He said he waited over a month just for the part’s because they were back ordered on the red bushings. If you are in the market for a CMR for your Tacoma hit me up as I have them in stock with black and red bushings.

@BYJOSHCOOK is the resident general host of such events. I believe he has started talks of doing one in the near future. I'm sure he will quote this message with a link to any relevant threads.

Of course, I can lend a hand if that day doesn't work for you or you need to do it sooner. I'm close to the Gwinett/Hall county line.

Have not, but have looked into it a few times. I may not be able to assist, but I bet you'll get some quality answers if you ask here.

Thanks for the response. My son and I decided to tackle the job last night. It got dark before we could finish. He's coming over after work this afternoon so we can finish it up.

KFlo has several good how-to videos. Here's the one he did on that job.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF9--WmZOYo

edit: looks like he uses a sharpie. I used both a yellow and orange paint pen when I did mine. Overly mark everything, as some of it can wear off while you are working. When in doubt, mark it.
