Drop a link to a shopping site in a post and it'll shop up down there if it's a major site like Amazon or eBay

For the sake of other drivers, please check your cutoff after install of those LED's.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    Aim your headlights correctly.

There are probably a bunch of videos on YouTube that explain how and why aiming the head lights is needed.

Oh gotcha, no im fully aware...i just put all new lenses/housings on the truck and went through headlight adjustment. People are real shitty up here with the bright lights...example all the f350s, their brights are obviously on, then if u tap urs theyll give u the light bar...

Cutoff is the line where your lights no longer illuminate. If you park 25 feet or so away from a flat wall, there should be an obvious cutoff line roughly as high as the headlights (preferably slightly lower). Should look something like this...

    VT Stock NO fog 1.jpg

If you don't get a clean line, you'll be blinding other drivers. Too many people put LED's into vehicles that weren't designed for them and end up blinding everyone else.

See my other post. Most of the time, it's not that they are driving with their brights on, they are just scattered LED's. You flash your brights, they flash theirs back. Our stock Tacoma housings were not designed for LED's and you'll likely get a metric shit ton of scatter...

That's why I have a front and rear facing light bar. It's there specifically for drivers with blinding LED/HID with non-projector headlight assembly.

Got it now.. actually the first leds i tried to run were all screwed up. This line could not be brought down from the trees and from seemingly under the bumper.. just dark right in the middle where i need to see the most...u know, the road lol. I think they were "sealight" brand..again Amazon specials.

Yes coming up from behind is just as bad...i had some spot lights on the bumper of another truck just for that.

No. You put LED bulbs into a housing not made for them. This is why I was asking you to check your cutoff. The light in the trees would be going into other drivers eyes.

@crashnburn80 has a thread dedicated to it here...

Hmmm. Thankfully these were cheap...any recommendations on a halogen type bulb? I was also thinking of doing the Amazon projector mod i keep reading about. Im more than an hr south of fairbanks ak, so forgive me but i need good light out here.

Yeah, those are complete garbage and will just blind others while also provide you with minimal useable light output being a significant downgrade from stock while making it more hazardous on the road for both you and other drivers. Don't believe Amazon reviews for lighting products, the vast majority of individuals do not know what to look for.

This is a real light upgrade. While written for a 2nd Gen, use the 1st Gen harness and it works the same way.
