Of course! It's hard to post everything publicly as you know, but easier to do so privately.

Yeah, I am VERY overwhelmed right with so much discussion on that forum. A lot of inside info you guys have leaked yourselves on many Toyota nameplates, that match my knowledge!

If it’s gonna look that ugly, I’ll stick with a 3rd gen

I find it hilarious that so many don't want to accept the reality there is no 4th Gen Tacoma until Toyota announces it. I don't doubt that they are working on one, but there is uncertainty in the economy, the mid size truck market is going to be flooded with every automaker coming out with or having a new one out. I don't doubt the information is accurate about 4cyl turbos or hybrids, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Gen3 Tacoma just gets a new engine option for 1-2 years, not unlike what Nissan did with the frontier.

You can't be serious, the new guy with 41 posts, did you not read any of this thread, or see the mules actually running around on a different frame with different suspension? You are new here, there are a few members who are legitimate inside sources that have first hand knowledge and have continued to point to and be accurate on changes from the 2nd to 3rd gen to mid cycle refresh in 2020 to now 4th gen. The 4th gen as discussed was already delayed a year from the original planning, an all new Tundra was dropped in the middle of COVID, even in recessions manufacturers continue to update products to sell vehicles, Toyota planning is very through, the migration to TNGA-F has been in the works for a long time my friend. I'm sorry if I come off rash, but these type of posts with total disregard are what causes those that do share inside info with the forum to stay clear and stop sharing.

So do we know what the 4th gen is going to look like? Just curious!

I am serious when I say until Toyota reveals the 4th gen Tacoma, there isn't one. The existence of a midsize truck as a mule doesn't mean that it will be out for the 2024 model year. The current model Tacoma is the only vehicle that Toyota can produce in significant quantities. Head into a dealership and ask a sales associate to show you their current allocations, the Tacoma is the only one in the 20's and 30's all the rest are single digits. As of 2 days ago Toyota has a 28 day supply of cars. Toyota released the Tundra in 22, the sequoia in 23. The 4runner is over a decade old and using a powertrain from 2004. I think we would see a 6th gen 4runner before we see a 4th gen Tacoma. We might see Toyota do a refresh and offer a 4dyl turbo or hybrid, but not a new build.

Show me a linked in profile of the "insiders" on here that decide when the 4th gen is coming out. Unless its Tetsuo “Ted” Ogawa or Toshio Niimi, it is just more speculation.

Someone needs to poke some holes in the lid to this place. Some aren't getting enough oxygen to their brains in here.

That does seem to lack ground clearance. I hope they don’t neuter the new truck too much in pursuit of MPG’s.

I’m just praying the new Taco doesn’t look as shitty as the mule indicates. No matter how many times I’ve seen the Tundra, it still looks god awful. I just can’t get past the grill.
