What year did the brake adjustment change as I have not seen any of the newer trucks in person ??

That looks about normal to me that type of weather .

When you get enough Ice build up it starts to hurt then you really wish you did not have a beard

It shouldn’t have. I was just saying… if tech somehow got a better mousetrap, then newer advice would apply. I learned on 50s and 60s and the tech didn’t change into the 2000s….

EDIT: I haven’t done rear brakes on the taco yet. I have only partially removed one for an inspection.

Toyota vehicles have used the parking brake as early as the 1980`s to keep the rear brakes adjusted

Not like domestic vehicles that tended to use the back up and a hard brake application for rear brake adjustment.

Places like such is very hard to find nowadays. I've been keeping my eyes out for one in my area with no avail.
Enjoy while you still have the opportunity my friend! :hungry:

    You aren't near a Sam's Club?
Every one we have been in has about the same menu items and prices.

If you tag me next week I'll gladly send your nephew a couple of plates, they're far from pristine, but they're free.
You have to remind me tho cause I'm old. Don't be shy about it!!

After all the fun yesterday, today was just a clean up downtown, maybe do some tomorrow at home.

Here is my snow mover at the garage, another non-runner for $100, a cheap Amazon carburetor got it running.
Surges constantly unloaded, smooths out when working.

I do like this one as it has a 10hp engine with only a 24" cut - with good snow it will throw it a l-o-n-g way. :)

Todays snow wasn't good snow... :(

I’m ahead of the curve on number 5, I have a 30x60 detached garage. Well, I have a 30x30 garage, the back half is an apartment I built for my son before he got married. I thought it was going to be a kick ass man cave, but my wife turned it into a guest house :notsure:
