My local Ace sells Titebond, fact I just picked up some the other day. They're doing a restructuring going from True Value to Ace so they might be just selling that whole section out. Actually both Ace's near me are owned by the same owner, so what one doesn't have I don't have a problem going to the other one. One sells lumber and the other sells Stihl and other outdoor power equipment. Luckily the one down the road sells lumber as I buy way more lumber than outdoor power equipment. But, the other one is only a 15 minute ride from my house.

The cool thing is Ace sells Benjamin Moore paints, so something to look into. Although the gallon of BM Advance semi-gloss was $75 the other day I bought o_O

I hope they become a Stihl dealer. It's less than 2 miles from my house. I'll have to ask when I'm in there next time.

The Ace in the next town over (owned by family that bought this one) sells Stihl and BM.

how often do you need paint?

my sisters interior finish place sells benjamin moore. i'm familially committed to that for the foreseeable future ;)

i really don't bother trying to go to ace anymore for anything. for a couple years, i kept trying to go there for small odds and ends and they'd always be out of stock of the one thing i was going there for. i kept going back for the popcorn, and they kept letting me down.

The Ace in town has usually had everything I needed or their sister store. Prices are fair, and I don't have to drive 17 miles down the road to Lowe's or Home Depot. That and the staff are great!

I used to work at a place that sold Benjamin Moore, and mixed probably several thousand gallons of it. So, I'm pretty partial to the brand, no matter the cost. For something like ceilings, yea a cheap flat paint from Lowe's is just fine.

i've never been impressed with the price of the packout radio. it's way too large. heard one on the job a while back, sounded like crap, bass was distorted.

so things happened, and i found myself making one out of an ion job rocker plus that was left for dead. it's probably cost about 4x's the packout radio by now, but it'll sound better!

in the paint 'booth' getting primer before laying down a test basecoat. m18 lawn mower box for street cred.

I have the pipe cutter. It can be hard to get a square cut on short pieces but otherwise works.

Mine was free when I bought the PEX expander tool. It works well enough for a free tool. Same with the 18V heat gun & 18V 5.0 battery that was also part of the package.

Looking at my books (self employed) for 2022. I'm needing to add some expenses to offset some revenue/income. Loading up the cart on the HD site now.

I'm debating waiting until after Christmas. In the event there are better deals that week. And I'm anticipating HD gift cards.

Round 1. Grabbed a few in-store items. The laser level was $199 online and $299 in store. They matched the online price.
