So it turns out the one manual that mentions the 445 it mia..thought i had seen it. At any rate check out the np models from up to 74.20221217_165717.jpg 20221217_165617.jpgi dont know how old u guys are, im in my 40s..its nice to talk about this stuff. It doesnt seem to be common knowledge anymore which is a pain for a novice mechanic like myself thats just trying to learn.

The models listed there other than the 435 were used in heavier trucks, not very common to find versus the units used in pickups.

    Re: poll

Have almost died numerous times, but never gotten to "needing to be resuscitated" stage.

-Ketoacidosis when I came down with T1D
-Ran out of air 70ft underwater due to a faulty air guage
-came across a cougar kill with the cat still on it and had a staredown from 15ft away with an angry cat
-almost fell off the top of a 125' rock climbing route cuz "I dont need to harness in" doing the toprope setup.

So i go out and start the taco after being on the heater for 4 hrs...and upon running a few mins, i could smell fuel. Pop the hood and i can see the back passenger injector is a little wet..cant really get a good look at the ones under the intake..great.
Ive got this problem with the town and country toom...fine if its above zero, leaks like a sieve til its warmed up. Replaced all 6 injectors in the van and it still does it..

honestly these days, i'm slowly converting over to brushless power tools.

when i bought the house, i immediately bought a compressor. i barely use it anymore. mostly just to fill up tires from time to time.

way too noisy, and the brushless electric stuff works just as well without the lag time of waiting for the compressor to fill.

besides, it's way more fun to use my m18 framing nailer than it is to start the compressor, drag out the hose, unwind the hose, connect the hose, drag the framing nailer out, connect to the hose, use it, wind up the hose, dump the tank, and put the compressor, hose, and nailer away...

Just a few highlights in an otherwise pretty normal life. Gotta spice it up every once in a while.

i might be able to help some with that one. my grandfathers starting to get to the 'purging' point of his life. i know he's got at least 2 full shoeboxes of plates... just need to convince him to give a few up

this is what i grabbed from his collection last time, the top 2 orange plates i'd have to find, i'm not using, better for them to go somewhere someone can appreciate them. both are unique, smaller than normal.

all 3 were grabbed for the purpose, but the yellow one is what i finally selected to make into a key rack to fit a funky little wall by my entry door.

if stories are what you're after, i imagine he probably still remembers what those plates were installed on...

I seem to have bad luck with injector leaking below 0 degrees f. Mini van did it, had the injectors replaced and it still does it. This is the first time ive driven the tacoma in below zero and its doin it too.
