That right there is pretty scummy and an important aspect. People around here seem to be all about research and reviews, but that depends on the seller being honest in the first place, especially if it’s some whackadoodle Chinese product that may or may not be hot steaming garbage.

Thank you to everyone who has commented so this gets more views. It is much appreciated!
I love how easy it is to trigger people. This forum has helped me solve a some issue in the past with my truck and I appreciate that but it is hilarious how easy people get their panties in a bunch of certain topics. I mean I should not be surprised at this point. I could say I like a ham sandwich and I would have people yelling at me. LOL. Have a great night everyone Been a trip as always.

So what I understand is the product is defective. What is the warranty on the product?

Yeah, well 30 days is a shit warranty, whether the OP knew it or not. The point is he posted this as a warning to others who might not know about the shit warranty, not for sympathy. I wouldn’t buy anything from these hacks after seeing this

What was wrong with the OEM taillamps?

Toyota innovation sone times works backwards 2nd gen had LED taillights starting in something like 09. Mine didn't because it was the facelifted base model.

I wouldn't either but not because of a forum post.
I agree. 30 days is a shit warranty.
The thread title calls this company garbage because they wouldn't extend a plainly worded upfront warranty. That's my point. Unreasonable expectations.

Lol it’s 30 days from the purchase date, not even from when you actually receive it. Hard pass.

They also want to sell 12/24/36 month extended warranties. Interesting.

If feel like some of you might be confusing a return policy with a warranty policy.

I checked their site and found the cheapest tails with LED in the description. They have a 30 day return policy and a limited 1 year warranty.

OP which lights did you get? You might want to visit their site and see what it says for the warranty and screenshot it. If it is a year and they are saying it’s past 30 days either you are explaining it wrong or they also don’t understand the difference between return and warranty window.

If you do get another set of taillights, the OEM 2020-2023 TRD Pro taillights are sick. I have them on my truck

Adding to the point is I’m not sure it’s even a warranty, it’s a return or exchange policy.
Bottom line is the manufacturer of the lamp must have at minimum a 90 day warranty warranty on defects. That’s you’re route to go OP.

I feel like you sir are correct.

    Again,
OP, you can reach out to the MFG to see if they’ll fix or replace them under their warranty. Not saying they will.

I’ll share my experience with the company. I ordered a 30 inch light bar mount set for my 2nd gen a couple weeks ago. The order arrived in 3 days but unfortunately was the wrong stuff. I received door hinge covers for a jeep wrangler. I contacted them and got a response almost immediately so I explained what happened. They treated me really well told me to keep the other parts and sent out the right stuff. I received them also in 3 business days. I gave them a high review based on the customer service I got which was excellent. Now when I installed them the holes were a little bit off so they didn’t fit. I just grabbed the air tools and enlarged the bottom holes a little and they went right on so this was no problem at all. For someone that didn’t have the tools this could have been quite frustrating considering the first mistake. I would buy from them again if it was something small like this but larger stuff or electronics I personally would spend the extra money and get something I knew was going to be high quality. Overall I think they are a good company but maybe lack a little bit in the quality control department.

I don't think it was warranty. I think they hurt his pus telling him it was past their 30 day return policy.
