I have a small safe in my room next to my bed, but I have kids so leaving it in a holster or in a drawer is a no go for me. I always CCW when driving and have it with me. I’m gonna get one of those center console safes eventually for long drives where appendix gets uncomfortable.

No kids so I can get away with nightstand in a holster. I'm debating mounting a safariland qls to the bed frame and mount a holster to it.

In the truck keep it on me. For long trips I'll slide a spare holster between the seat and console. Need to get one of those console vaults so safe place to keep it if stop at a place I can't carry

    Just ordered a SilencerCo 46M.

I was going to also order the YHM R9 for my CZ Scorpion Evo 3, but decided I will wait and get the Innovative Arms integral since it adds less length and makes even 115gr sub-sonic. Plus, it looks bad ass.

That is going to take 2 weeks extra duty pay plus $200. But, I'll get the $200 promo gift card to use on muzzle devices.

OR has the plague, just trying to get what I want before it dies.
This is going to be the primary residence of the YHM T2 once it gets approved. SBR with binary trigger.

46m will be a range whore for a few different ones as I slowly give them dedicated cans. After the others are done, it'll live on a Noreen Bad News 308.

from what I’ve read 114 doesn’t apply to suppressors because Oregon law clearly defines firearms and suppressors differently and 114 only refers to firearms and magazines.

grabbing my gun wish list as best I can and then it’ll be time for more cans while they duke it out in court.

Yeah, the issue is my LGS doesn't know the laws. If I had the time, I'd go to Eugene or Medford and find a different shop to use.
My LGS made me get a second bgc for my Gemtech Integra even though the 4473 specifically has a spot for instances where a bgc was already completed as part of the registration.
When it was pointed out, they said they never saw or heard if it. So, they fill out a document that could have an effect on their legal status without reading or understanding it.

The only gun I have left on my list is a 12ga Hammer Coach (or just an external hammer 12ga SxS) to SBS.

Mostly stock with a few minor mods.
So I just came into possession of a free stripped lower and I think I want to build a 6.5 Grendel. I will probably just buy a complete upper, but I need to build out the lower. Any recommendations on parts kits? I haven't built one before - always bought complete rifles. Any good sites where I can pick and choose the parts I need?

I usually buy parts from Primary Arms, Brownell, MidwayUSA, BCM, JoeBoboutfitters, Righttobear, PSA, MidWest Industries or my local gun store. As for parts kit I always have good luck with Aero Precision, CMMG, or PSA.

Whatever you do, buy an ‘oops kit’. Heck, I keep several on hand. If you’re building or repairing AR’s, these are gold.

Bought a dremel to grind out the Safariland 6354 DO to fit the RMR with rear irons. 6354 DO was meant for irons in front of optic so clearance was off a tad and needed a good grind job in order to lock up.

Locks up super nice now not the prettiest grind job but it works. Now I need to practice on a sacrificial p365 grip module to work on my undercut skills before doing and undercut grind on the 19x

Don't overthink it. As others have said, cmmg, Aero, etc. is what you seek. You may be surprised that many of these kits are mass stamped and then rebranded when they hit the market. Except for the upper end in which I wouldn't waste my money on a Grendel(I'm not bashing it at all, it will be a great rifle). You are building a Grendel, not a 6.5 PRC to shoot 1000 yards. Spend your money on a comfortable stock, bolt and a decent upper.
Enjoy your build and the rifle.
