All the hard work is done. This and that still to program. It's amazing how different the audio is among channels.

:pccoffee:Good Morning Mark & Good Morning SA! Chilly this morning, and not the chili from last night! Heck, that pot is sitting outside on the bakers rack for cooling! Going to spend the day playing with buttons and household putz. Make the weeks plan to be ready for a freezing Christmas!:santa:

I'm planning on the yard for Tuesday. Mostly for grooming, but I can't believe the amount of grass still growing! Greenhouse system from last year is still working great! Foam panels went inside in November. Still nothing on top. Little fan to circulate the air from the oil heater. Thermostat turns it on at 45*, and off at 55*.

Ours is a bastard Culligan that the wife got from some "great people" near where she used to work before teaching. They disappeared, Culligan in San Marcos took it over, so it's pieces of everything!

Working right is cool! I can't believe that I have ONE cable going from the new amp to the TV. Turn on either remote, and it knows to turn on the other! I had 3 HDMI, an audio, and a Bluetooth gizmo wire going up to the TV before. Now, one cable. Still tweaking, but amazed.

Fair. But I put a lot of work into that truck and I'm still proud of everything I did to it! The new Tacoma isn't ready yet. Give me some time. I'm still trying to make a real decision on what to do with/to it.

    How bout this one?

Yes the newer ones like that are cool how they all sense each other. I only have a few connections, lets see, HDMI from DVD (hardly used) and an optical out, then my ethernet cables to the switch in the laundry room.

I agree, should of kept it. That works...btw what happened with insurance etc on it?

    Probably.

Insurance on the yeep? The battle ensues. It’s still not fixed and I know they’re not going to pay for it. I haven’t driven it since February and I haven’t seen it since June. I’m just going to have to rebuild the entire rear end myself. After weighing the options and considering the plans I had for the future, I’m just going to jump several steps ahead with the 1-ton swap and start looking for Dana 60’s to rebuild after the holidays.

    Good morning from the Gulf!

SA: Todays weather brought to you by Spam: it’s not just a good fishing bait, but it is an excellent fishing bait! Now we go live over to Alex, everyone’s favorite fling -wing driver and junior weather interpreter, who is with us from a helideck in the middle of the ocean, good morning Alex! How’s the weather looking?

Alex: Good morning San Antonio! It’s a breezy one out here today, San Antonio, with winds whipping out of the east at a constant 25-30mph. We can expect gusts up to 50mph, possibly 55mph as the cool front pushes south over the warm, moist air. I’d say bring your umbrella for the thunderstorms that will be widespread this side of the big blue but you would most likely become an unhappy Mary Poppins the moment you open it. Luckily the water landing wouldn’t be too cold, sea temps are still warm at around 74F, but the search and rescue efforts would be dampened by wave heights at a constant 10-12’ and the occasional 14’+ rollers. My overall opinion? Stay in bed, don’t even put your socks on, today is not a day you want to go flying over deep water. The question on everyone’s mind: will he be home for Christmas? Stay tuned to find out as this breaking story continues to develop. Back to you San Antonio!

    Morning Kevin
    Morning Mark
    Morning Alex

:rain::pccoffee: Good Morning SA! LOL, Hover! Just a cold, light, drippy here. All day long they say. In the modern, technical miracles department, I did manage to finally pair the little IPod McMusic device to the amp, so another extra doo-dad gone. And I did get them connected to the Spectrum remote, but the disappointing lack of useful buttons means I will need to keep the remotes handy. And since they talk to each other, when I turned the system on or off, the TV tells the amp to turn off, then the amp AUX control turns it back on! So, this morning, I made the amp not part of the remote anymore. Last issue I really have is the amp puts a Start Menu on the TV every time it turns on. I tried several things, and Sony support says they don't actually have a cure. Some of the Google cures worked, BUT, then either the remote didn't work, the ARC communication quits, or similar. :notsure: I have both remotes in the stand next to me. Technology is so wonderful!

Do some shopping for stocking stuffers and such today, and that's it except for football!
