I'm weighing selling my 01 and getting a new Tacoma. Thing is, I'm sitting on a bunch of upgrade parts that I haven't installed yet (leafs, 881s, JBA, etc.).

My question is this:. Would the truck be more desirable post-install or as is with the parts included? Assuming the same price either way. Figure anyone buying a first gen maybe wants the assurance of doing the work themselves?

You're not likely to get much extra for having the parts installed compared to selling the parts to someone wanted to install them on their truck. Unless the person buying your old truck values those parts as much. If it were my I'd sell the parts and the truck independently, but everyone's experience will be different.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Easy, sell truck as is.

Sell parts separately and do not make mention of them at all when selling your truck; buyer will want you to "throw" stuff in for free or cheap simply out of convenience to both of you.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
You also need to remember that installed after market goodies will cut down the buyers for your truck..

Not as much as before but people like the idea of just a plain stock Tacoma ,

Once you get away from the forums .

These trucks are "desirable" enough in pretty much any form, so that's not much of a concern. People are buying trucks with rusted out frames.

Just depends on what you want/need. If you just need to get rid of everything, then throw it all in with the sale, and you'll have everything out of your hair in a day. But if you're trying to squeeze every penny out of it, sell it all separately.
