I bought a few things from them when I had my Jeep. Bumper, side steps, exhaust. All where perfectly fine and reasonably priced. I was on the fence about getting some LED headlights, but ended up getting them. They were junk right out of the box. I returned them no questions asked. Great customer service. I found them to be very helpful.
I think with a place like that, you really need to decide whats worth buying from them. Kinda like Harbor Freight.
Sux your experience didnt go as planned, but if they state 30 days, then its fair for them to refuse a refund. As others have stated, with something electronic, it pays to have the piece of mind in getting a longer warranty even if its most likely much more expensive.

A 30 day “warranty” is a bit short for a part that doesn’t work don’t ya think? Don’t buy from a company that has that return policy.
There may be no victims but there sure is junk for sale.

Spending 30K+ on a truck and then cheap out on shitty lights has never made sense to me. Neither does complaining about a return policy.

30 days is the return policy on that item, not the warranty as others have mentioned previously.

ok fine it's a warranty, still, nobody is defending the return policy/warranty or even arguing that it's fair or great. The point is, do your fuckin research and stop whining about a policy that is stated on the purchase of a product 60 days after it expires. It's a tough lesson for some but one that needs to be learned.

Incognito... Did we interrupt some special time for you this morning?

In any case... I'm gonna go fire up my Meso-tail equipped truck that's been parked in the snow all night and drive to work without issue. Buy once cry once.

I wouldn’t buy from them either. May have been a good company at one point but recently getting ahold of them for any kind of return or even to buy replacement parts has become extremely difficult. Nothing is ever restocked it’s overpriced and now bad customer service too. No thanks.

Tail lights are just as important a safety feature as your headlights are. Extreme Terrain advertises these products on their website as being significantly brighter than stock. Well, being brighter than stock, and significantly so, actually poses a safety problem in how products like these affect the drivers behind you. Brighter is not always better in the same way that that applies to headlights. There's a reason there are federal standards for all lighting on all vehicles. Add to this that these appear to have severe electrical interference issues make them doubly unsafe. Just think about being on a trip with these when they crap out and leave you literally stranded somewhere. I guess you gotta keep your OEM's in the back for spares.

That’s stupidest reason for not doing business with a company I’ve ever heard.

Your taillights led to brake failure. Damnedest bad luck I've ever heard of.

I doubt XT is little more than a drop shipper. A middleman. A lot of the "companies" people order from are this way.
I purchased my Morimotos from XT and they shipped from the manufacturer. I've had some other parts do the same thing.
XT does sell poor quality parts or excellent quality parts, to my knowledge. They just drop ship to you what you wanna buy.

This is actually brilliant marketing. You need to reach and speak to every demographic and age group.
I don't get every emogi or wording...but I know the younger generation do, and they have money to spend.
