Crockpot ribs! Cooked on medium for 6hours. Then I tossed 'em in the oven on broil (and added more BBQ sauce) for about 7 minutes. With a side of cajun seasoned fries and chipotle mayo. The end result:

I got a George Foreman grill-pan from the MIL. The kind where the grease goes to one side and pools. It has raised grill marks. I season the patties and throw on 4 at a time, pushing them together side by side. Wait patiently till they shrink away from one another. then flip only once, pushing them together again. When they separate again I take off heat, add cheese, put the glass lid on until the cheese melts and pools. F'n love that thing even though it's about 30 lbs.

    Subjective.

I like a nice crust on mine so I like flat pans, rather than a grill pan. Grilled burgers are good, but not worth it over charcoal for 1-2 burgers. My controversial opinion is that steaks and burgers are better in a skillet than the grill. :notsure:

Total agreement here. Anything cooked in its own fat (or butter) is gonna be better

Flat pan and use the leftover juices to make a sauce while the patty is resting.

Little red wine to deglaze, some Worcestershire for seasoning (reduce liquids by half), small amount of cornstarch slurry if you need/want to thicken it - you’ve got a quick, bastardized version of a beurre rouge!

This recipe is awesome! The homemade mushroom sauce makes all the diff. It’s been my go to for the past 3 Thanksgivings.
