Also, there’s fewer protections when using a debit card. If it’s an RFID and it gets hacked or skimmed, getting your $$ back is alot harder than disputing a charge.

I went to the Ophthalmologist last week, they have a sign at the front desk stating "Credit or Debit Cards Only, No Cash or Check Accepted ".
    I was stunned!

If they didn’t stupidly pre-enter $10 or $20…. Then it gets hilarious and you end up having to tell them what they owe you. My other favorite is to give them a bunch of hand change and watching them ask you how much it is…

For me, Cashback is a strong factor in using plastic money as well.
I don't forget how difficult it was to apply for a Credit card back in the days, and now it is one medium that is more popular than cash.
It's funny to see how these big financial institutions change people ways of life.

    .
The service truck at my work has an onboard air compressor driven by a Honda engine which has the push start and pull start options, the push button got the love from users so it wore out one day and there was a worker refused to use the pull start due to "hazardous to his arm". :annoyed:

I also should mention with my Post Office reduced to hit or miss counter hours . The Post Mistress claims lack of employees.

A few statements also seem to get delivered in a random fashion.

My debit card has been used in only the Butcher Shop and Grocery store since I started to use it.

A service truck perhaps you need your own Air to blow off key boards and computer cases ?

So the other worker was mechanically challenged?

I would if needed have hot wired that engine . If I was unable to pull start the compressor.

I was thinking along the same lines different thermal contraction between parts.

Just different enough to cause your leak.

I ran the tacoma a few times at the end of the summer and since been driving it once a week or so on short trips to get fuel and water and taking the trash out. Before that it did sit at the neighbors for a year...they could just be deteriorated from sit rot...

We have been lucky up to now this year...so far maybe only a couple weeks total below zero. But starting the other day we have been at a consistant 20-30 below and will be for at least the forcasted week. In a normal year we see neg temp starting in oct running to feb or mar.. common to be 30 below ALL winter with temps dipping to -50.

Spent my younger days(75 to 77) in the Mountain West . I know all to well below zero temps.

Had a chance to weld on the pipe line kinda glad it never worked out .

Welding in those enclosed shelters I don`t think anyone is still alive.

I’ve had a few, a 310-8, 318-8,(x2, one kohler one Onan) and a 418-A. That one had a 2 stage snowblower. It was a beast. Hand controlled hydro which took some getting used to, but you couldn’t stop that snowblower. Great machines all!
