I had the awesome opportunity to meet a good man from about an hour away. He came to get his beautiful manual transmission Tacoma the lastest KDMaxx XT tune. We had to jump through some hoops to get it done but he left happy with the sport throttle setting. We were able to hangout and chat for quite a bit and I was more than happy to make a good man happier with his beauty of a Tacoma.

 

Had a phenomenal gentleman come by our shop to get his truck tuned with the KDMaxx XT normal throttle setting. Had a good time hanging out and chatting. Fun test ride around my neighborhood and was able to get another Tacoma owner in, out and happy with the KDMaxx tune

Got to do another KDMax tune yesterday for a wonderful man who was familiar with KD to begin with. Beautiful truck (loved that it was a manual) and awesome guy to talk to. Very knowledgeable.

 

This beauty came to us from NY for the lastest and greatest KDMax tune. I was able to get his TSB updated and the tune complete while Jesse Smith got his Tacoma talkin of the day and explained the in and outs of the tune itself. This gentleman was super excited to get an upgrade and was an awesome new customer we got to love their Tacoma even more

We tuned our first Tundra!!!
By we, I mean Jesse got to take this one because I couldn’t leave work BUT big step for us!
Pulled his ECU, got the right tune and BAM! Happy Tundra owner with the KDMaxx Tune in it.

We have a new KDMax-Pro tune---KDMax-Pro-9.0
As the Vftuner software has gotten updated, we were able to make updates to our tune to improve it.
We have tested it in our group and ready to release it. It is stronger and smoother, with improved drivability.
The update is free for all KDMax-Pro+XT users and we would like to get feedback on this and the public thread.
If you want your tuner to update you, there may be a fee for time/travel.
We appreciate all your support in the past and look forward to hearing from you in the future!

The KDMax-Pro-9.0 is an improved version of the KDMax-Pro+XT. We were able to find improvements with the recent upgrades in Vftuner.
- Throttle is smoother
- Shifting was adjusted to keep the truck in the power band and improve MPGs
- Torque maps were optimized to keep power throughout, especially on the low end
- Cruise Control was optimized for better shifting on the highway

 

Corey stopped by on the 11th with his 18 build. Put him on the 9.0 and he’s loving it! Awesome truck and great guy. Spent another hour hanging out and talking trucks and shop.

One of the best things about tuning is getting the opportunity to meet great people around us that we probably wouldn’t have had the chance to meet otherwise!

 

November was incredibly busy with family and traveling, as I’m sure it is for most! We haven’t had much time to update the thread, couple more trucks to post up later.

What's the name of the shop? I live in Colchester and just picked up a 23 to replace my old one... very interested in pricing and learning more about the tune!
