Annual Spring Mojave Run 2011

have fun boys. i'm officially out.

my truck is going to be down in the shop that week and weekend and my buddies and I will be hitting up the mojave road later in april when my buddy gets back from afghanistan

if anybody wants to go, but can't make this trip, feel free to hit me up and roll w/ us

not exactly sure because my buddy isn't exactly sure when he's gonna be back in so cal on leave...

shooting to do it the weekend of 4/22-24

it would be rad to have a big group, the more the merrier

we planning on hitting up vegas too after we get to primm

I can't wait to roll out. Since our last Mojave run I installed my Icom V8000. Replacing my timing belt, water pump and seals this weekend. No RC car tho guys. Bringin a co-worker as a passenger, maybe he has an RC truck.

 

prob not. i have a snowboarding trip planned that weekend, but it's not 100% for sure yet

A lot of people don't have their license. But after getting a perfect score on the test saturday and seeing how easy it is I don't see why you wouldn't want to get it. Check the thread, get your ham license, in the socal section. There is a test on the 19th at bass pro.

 

Well let's see... I guess it depends upon your definition of the words 'have to have' is. Mike, how many people do you know that have had a $10,000 fine and 6 months in jail? Are they running that HAM radio enforcement zone near the water crossing this year?

Well to answer your question, no (you do not have to have) it's like fishing w/o a license in a lake that is at 10,000 feet. It's much better if you have a government official asking you for your license but the key on the mic won't change.
