Old thread but bumping cause Im still curious…

    Any issues with the hubs?

It’s been said some shaving is required for the 2021 Trd Pro rims… just noticed you stated yours were OEM.

    Thanks in advance

Hi, no shaving required on my end and no issues with the hubs, either. Hope that helps.

They sat flush? So is it a pre-2021 thing?

Do the center caps pop off the pro wheels without removing the wheel from the truck?

Sub'd for future responses. I do like the look of these wheels and prefer them to the SEMA wheels. Mod'ing the rear axle hub isn't a big deal to me.... but the wheel finish might be. I see mixed comments on these OEM wheels being harder to clean due to the coating finish.

This thread hasn't had any play for a month, but there are some great examples and good information in here. Bump for clarification on the AGP Pro 17 x 8 (TRD Pro SEMA 17" replica) wheel. The answer may have been posted, but at some point, it becomes hard to determine which information is applying to AGP vs fatory TRD since it's not made clear in every response.

AGP will not recommend anything larger than 265/70r17. I have a 2"ish lift (Bilstein 6112/5160 with Icon RXT springs and adjustable UCAs). I am planning on 285/70r17. Can anyone share experience with these AGP wheels and 285/70r17 tires relating to rub/trimming/chop? I know what to expect with the factory 17 x 7 / 4mm Pro wheels based on all the posts with that setup, but I don't know how the different offset and 8" width on the AGP will affect things.

    Thanks for any assistance.

AGP has them marked down to $149 per wheel if anyone was looking to order…

I think it has been confirmed that the TRD center caps do fit these but not the FNW Reps? (Can anyone chime in)

Dr Beasley's Wheel Seal seems like a good choice and may be what I use if I purchase these.

I tried the chemical guys matte wheel cleaner/sealant. Seems to work just fine to clean but there is zero change in appearance. I mean absolutely none. And it doesn’t bead or anything. So it FEELS like you’re just cleaning them. As far as the sealant aspect goes… I can’t really say.

    Good to know.....
Chemical Guys sounds like a no for matte wheels.
Dr. Beasley's sounds like a yes.

Well there I go spending money again…
But good looking out! That’s a sweet deal on these wheels and I had never heard of this company. Going with the bronze.
