I never want to see one that low unless it happens to be attached to a deep freezer - full of beef. :hungry:

I'd like to take a minute to brag on people instead of nag on people. I put some items for sale last week for a tractor. 2 different people called me at the beginning of the week and said they wanted them but couldn't come until Saturday. I said that's fine, I'll take em down and hold em for you. Call me Friday and I'll give you my address.

Weds. I parked our blue four wheeler by the road with a for sale sign cause we never ride it and we have another one just like it. Guy who drives a dumpster truck stopped and looked at it. Called me about 30 minutes later, came by and looked at it that afternoon again. Gave me 1/2 the money and said he'd be back Saturday to get it.

Friday afternoon both guys called me and set up a time, both got there. I hadn't heard anything from 4 wheeler man so I text him at lunch, he said I'm almost there.

I saw him pull in, when he was putting the ramp down I went and got the 4 wheeler and loaded it on his trailer. He never even sat on it but gave me the other half of the money and away he went.

There are still some good people out there :hattip:

    Another way to say this:

If you can’t pay the balance in full every month, don’t put it on the card

(It’s the only way any benefits the card may have will pay out in your favor)

Frosty 47 degrees this morning! Air was crisp, I enjoy a day like these from time to time. 4 wakeups and I'm off 10 days. January shaping up to be super busy month, gotta get some of my rooks trained up a bit better. Looking like I may be stepping into a Lead role sooner than I thought. Been praying about it.

Everyone at work today chattering about the snow expected Wednesday into Thursday night.
You'd swear it was going to be a snowmageddon event or something o_O
Slightly modified leak stop device. I guess they thought my original design didn't need to be so heavy duty.

My inlaws wanted to go shoot a few pistols yesterday, my fil had a .38 special with him and a box of ammo that had the price on it, 50 rounds....$6.99

A quick search just turned this up :bananadead:

I need some help from those who shoot. My 10 year old son has always been an awesome shot with a rifle, he waits and pulls the trigger and has had good success hunting.....until this season. He has gotten to where he flicks the safety off and jerks the trigger.....missing what he's shooting at. I don't know why he's started doing this, my wife and I seem to think it has something to do with the puberty he's going through

What can I do to get him to focus like he used too?

We went and shot his rifle yesterday, 4 times and he missed the whole target twice. After talking to him and telling him what he was doing, he hit close to the bullseye.

He's always been high strung, except for when he shoots a rifle....until this year. I don't get it. He's missed 3 deer and I feel so bad for him because I know he's a better shot than that. I wanted him to see the rifle hits where it's supposed to is why we went and shot it yesterday.

I still get excited seeing deer. I bet hes putting more pressure on himself, forgetting what you taught him.

I've always gotten excited when shooting at deer and I've always jerked the trigger instead of squeezing it unless I talk to myself to calm down. Maybe I need to get the bolt action .22 out and let him go shoot about 100 rounds through it at a small target just to get him back in rhythm. Forget giving him an automatic, it's how fast can I empty the mag

He can obviously shoot just fine, he needs to focus on his breathing. My dad always taught me to squeeeeeeeze that trigger not jerk and to breathe in, half out and hold. I always try to take the shot after I've exhaled half and I'm holding.

And thanks for the kind words, I took this job and had no idea what it all entailed. I knew it made more money and my wife was 4 months pregnant. Turns out I really like this job and all the cool places/things it allows me to see.
