So you're saying the offer was there but wasn't taken advantage of.. And who's fault is that?

It's not an acceptable offer. Would you put replacements into your vehicle after an issue like this? No you would not. I would not try to sell someone else a product that has a serious safety concern as well so getting a replacement set is no good to me.

You can disagree all you want. If you would accept the replacement and install them again that is on you. Not something I am comfortable doing seeing as I had a brake malfunction. If you would get the replacements and try to sell them knowing they may have a serious potential safety flaw that is on you and not something I am not comfortable doing.

EDIT: YOU accepted the offer by making the purchase. I don't put cheap lights on my vehicle. I have $1400+ headlights that have a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer, and I knew what I was getting when I bought them (from ET).

You're veering way off topic, so I'm not sure where you're going here.

The He is Me. Agreed, i 100% learned my lesson from buying cheaper lights. Not going to do that again. No argument from me on that. I also know I have dealt with other companies that have similar return policies yet are happy to work with a customer to find an acceptable solution when a major problem happens. ET is not one of those companies. The the whole point of my op was to make others aware of what they can expect if they have problem beyond 30 days.

I still stand by what I said. Based on my experience ET is not a good company to spend my money with. Others can decide to do what they will. Just my opinion. You don't have to agree with it.

Well at some point you have to accept your share of the responsibility and these guys never do. He bought a cheap product and is bashing the company for not doing more than what they very clearly agreed to do. I just can’t put that on the company.

Just because your first set of tail lights developed a defect in 3 months doesn't mean the replacement set will. Thousands of these tail lights have been sold over the years with no short-term issues. If you aren't "comfortable" with it, then stick with OEM tail lights. Even the $600 Meso tail lights with waiting lists can develop problems.
