How does everyone feel about February 18 or 25 for a snow run?

I'm thinking about doing the T.W.A.T, maybe starting somewhere near the middle. :notsure:

Or, if anyone has a suggestion for a good area to cruise mid-winter?

Luckily I just aligned my turbo encabulator, I'm in no rush. Let's meet up for a beer after the holiday madness.

I'd probably be in either of those weekends. Would be awesome to get some snow and be able to break fresh tracks. Had fun up north last year!

Those look good for me, but right now the 18th is a better bet. I potentially might have something on the other day.

Should we just lock in the 18th?

They are talking about 18-24” of snow this week. Sounds like a good Christmas activity

So general question for the collective. What’s a good air pressure for fresh deep snow. And maybe unplowed interstates lol. Got a bit of traveling planned between Milwaukee and Madison when this storm is supposed to hit.

I run 30 in the winter, 35 in the summer

If you are off road or just bashing drifts, you can definitely go 20-25

I never thought about this, but it's a good idea. Maybe I'll try airing down a bit the next time I have to drive in a snowstorm.

Lol. It’s a good way to spice up the mundane every day stuff. It might be weird, but I kinda like the adrenaline of driving through crazy weather systems. Granted, I hate the idea of being around a lot of other drivers in bad weather, but there’s usually other routes to find to avoid the worst of the traffic. The navigating becomes part of the fun.

About the only bad weather I hate to drive is the usual bad weather we mostly have, light rain or light wet snow that just turns into salt brine spray on the windshield. Bleh!

There’s plenty of fun to be had on the back roads. Around here it’s not really by choice, takes a long time for the grader to make the rounds
