Let's See Your Cats!!!

Well, Cheddar met his match today. He's proven himself against bugs, birds, squirrels, and baby mice, but today he got hold of a full grown mouse that knew how to fight back. The mouse was dispatched, but Cheddar paid a price. He's spooked now, not sure if he'll ever go after a mouse again.

Two years ago we left our cat home alone for 2 weeks over Xmas (with a daily Pet sitter obviously) and there was a mouse in the house. I set traps a few places the cat couldn’t get. And that useless cat did not get that mouse, alone with it for two week and could not catch it. I finally had to catch it myself…

The new cat meanwhile is a fucking murder machine and I can’t tell you how many times we found dead lizard bits or chased her out with a mouse or forced her to let go a bird or two. She can’t help but kill. And this winter has been hard on her because theres not many things to murder.

 

He screamed and growled from behind boxes in a closet, after which his aggressive pursuit of mousey was curtailed, offering only tentative explorative touching, even while I boxed him and mousey together into a corner to trap him myself. There is no evidence of injury, except to his self esteem.

Being a person that works in IT, the first time i saw this i just about SH#T myself laughing sooo hard....because i can identify with this cat. i hope to make some of you guys laugh too...

I work for a company that sells copiers, does IT and other tech…this made me laugh (especially the end)

 

Both my wife and I about fell on the floor laughing. That’s the funniest thing I’ve seen

 

I can’t use my printer unless I lock Cheddar out of the room. He lands on my keyboard to screw up my document, then up to the printer to see what kind of damage he can do with that.

As a 'city slicker' I never realized the need for straw at the house. My feral cat boxes on the front porch are stuffed nicely with the stuff, and my feral city kitts like it too!

 

How do I keep my cat warm?
No heating blanket I just drive her to Florida.
She’s a Snowbird/cat.
