I assume you are talking about the Speedway Blue. If it is girly then we have a bunch of girly men on this site, including myself.

If the dealer doesn't have what you want in stock, give him a list of what you want on the truck and he can search the surrounding states to find the exact truck you want. They will then trade an existing vehicle on their lot with the dealer who has your truck. It will probably take at least a couple weeks to get the truck this way but you will get what you want (the wait was painful but it was worth it in the long run). This is the method I used to get my truck (my dealer had no 4X4's and I specifically wanted the Speedway Blue). You can still make a deal on the truck just like it was on the lot.

Good luck getting the truck. You will love it! Let us know if we can be of any more help. BTW, welcome to the TW site...

Definitely would not call it a girly color.

BUT, (and I mean this as to no offense to any blue guys) some colors seem to get dated easily. I think yellow is one of those colors and perhaps blue may be one too.

It may not come to fruition but if you look at colors that span the test of time for cars some come and go (orange, yellow, some blues, Purple, etc...). It could be that won't happen here and also if it does you may get rid of the truck way before it happens.

I got a yellow Shadow Cruiser, loved it for a year and then wished I had gotten something else.

    Just something to think about.

That goes without saying rhoppas, but you cant blame the truck color for your girly problem

As far as the dealer not having what you want, just go up to him and tell him and have him search all the dealerships in your region. I was very specific when i got mine too. It took them 4 days to get my truck after i made the deal, which isnt too bad. But like girly man said, it could take a couple of weeks for them to track one down and actually get it, but in the meantime you can start wheelin and dealin. Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

I bought my 07 back in March.... and it took them one day to find one (125miles away). It all depends... Be patient... you'll wanna make sure you get exactly what you want!!

Glad to hear you are getting the truck you wanted. Too bad you will have to wait a month for it. I about went crazy waiting the 2-3 weeks for mine. You will love it though! You will get sooo many comments on the color...

I do like the speedway blue, that has nothing to do with why i think rhoppas is girly...

    I DO NOT LIKE BLUE:eek:
I wanted the red, but the dealer talked me into a black by offering a $3k incentive to get it off his lot. I guess that BLACK is not too popular in Miami's melting heat.

i went from an F150 to a taco too! I loved my '06 4X4 Crew Cab Lariat, but, The Taco is cheaper and better on gas! Also, i vote the darker Blue.

The speedway is too brite for me.
