I need some heated gear! Had similar temps here yesterday...I layered up and went for a ride did about 40 miles, but was getting cold towards the end.

Heated gear is a game changer! I was going to ride to work this morning but was just lazy and didn't feel like gearing up.

It's in the 50s and 60s here and I'm already done riding for the year - heated gear sounds like a game changer! Being in Florida none of my normal gear is even super insulting so it gets useless quickly in the cold

Upper 60's I still wear my mesh jacket.......It's funny but I attend several FJR1300 forum meets each year which have up to 75-100 people show up from Canada to Florida, Maine to South Dakota and even California sometimes. Our big event is usually in mid September and in the mountains near good twisty roads. Past 2 years have been in Flatwoods, WV and at that time of year the weather there is about perfect. Mid 70's to lower 80's in the day and down into the low 60's possibly upper 50's at night. The Florida peeps are bundled up wearing every piece of clothing they packed while the Canadians are still in shorts and flip flops! Funny what the human body will adapt to climate wise.

A heated jacket liner is one of the best things I've ever bought. Spend the extra and get the wireless controller if you decide to invest in it. I can use the liner without plugging it in just as an added layer. I can plug in and the wireless controller defaults to a low setting giving you some heat even if the batteries in the controller go dead. I can actually turn it on and dial up the amount of heat I desire based on the temps I'm riding in. Works really great on a chilly, damp or even light rain day to keep you comfortable.

If you do go for one, look at Warm & Safe. That's what I use personally and they make much of the heated gear being sold under some other names. They're really good about standing behind their stuff and I know they do some forum discounts on a few bike forums. I think I got 15% off when I ordered mine a few years back.

Soon, I am hoping by his 3rd birthday in August. He can't "glide" yet.

haha you're not missing much my friend, the dating market is p terrible out there at least for my age range. Lots of flaking, bailing, low effort, and if you aren't wow'ing them immediately you won't hold their interest lol. Got tired of going on all these first dates putting on the whole show. The people don't suck per se, all the girls have been nice enough girls. Just no connection/chemistry, or follow through. So now all I do is ride, game, work, exercise, and spend time with people I actually like.

Appreciate you brotha! Luckily it's not so much money troubles, just impulse purchases lol. I go through phases of being very responsible and then doing a 180, rinse and repeat lol.

    The duality of man lol

When it first started getting "cold" I immediately switched to my winter jacket. Now that I've been riding in these temps for a couple weeks I switched back to my summer jacket and just put the liner back in. Still getting a little warm in that now haha

just a couple of things tbh
ya i get that im in my late 20s so the dating game is pretty annoying as well.... i had clicked with an online friend of mine very well and i liked her but she was younger so we stayed friends to see where things would go and welllll i had issues at work and some other stuff so i took a loa (leave of absence) and since i didnt talk to her through text she figured i lost interest and removed me and blocked me.... so much for being friends i guess ugh!

i think the main thing that would be nice is to have someone that would like to just go camping on weekends where im not having to make plans with my buddies and work around schedules with em it would be nice to be like yo its gonna be nice wanna go down south or what ever? because ill be honest camping by my self is so damn boring....

Save your pennies and take a trip to the Asian part of the world. Find a nice non westernized girl. Modern women in western society are damaged goods.
