I can't believe the people piggy-backing on it and wanting to do it themselves

 

I keep some spares in case, someone, I'm with had theirs installed incorrectly and they shear out. It's happened. Helps to keep the wagon train moving.

I generally concur with this, but I am planning a battery upgrade and have been told that the stock unit won't fit. Was basically looking for an adjustable unit and this fits the bill. Judging by the response I got regarding LRD interest, I'll likely be going with a blank/black one.

Anyone know how to fix a droopy valance? I replaced a broken plastic support bracket and it didn't help one bit.

Pretty sure there are rubber bushings on the mount behind the fender liner and this happens when they plum wear out.

 

80/landcruiser owners crack me up. On one hand they talk about how they drive the most rugged, toughest vehicle on earth as they LARP as camel trophy competitors. On the other hand they treat those vehicles like they are some finely tuned swiss watch, that only the most specialized, qualified hands can touch, and they treat the parts like they are off a Lamborghini Mira or something like that.

Really? That's one of the better looking flat beds out there. Usually they look like a hunk of dog shit built by a tweaker with a tube kinker out of scrap metal, and those are the nice ones!!

Our trucks have some weird electrical stuff but it's all pretty simple if you own the EWD. Other than that I'd say they're the last really simple Land Cruisers, the fucking 200 series is a supermarket on wheels, your need blueprints from the county to figure it out
