Wrapping.

I'm not and never have been good at fiddly type work, never had the coordination.
I do put in an effort to do a nice job for Mrs Greens presents - with varying results.

She wraps things for a few of her family members (seems like there are hundreds of 'em ) - more of late she uses gift bags for them.

I don't hate wrapping gifts, it's just tedious and it takes me entirely too long to do. So I usually put it off as long as possible. It's supposed to be in the 20's down here around Christmas. That will make it the coldest Christmas in 20+ years here.

 

Hear that @Fargo Taco, aren't you going to Florida to get AWAY from the cold

 

You are a better man than I. That would drive me insane.

 

It does me too. If I have to take something over there I just push it back, set whatever it is down and walk away.

@six5crèéd might want to look for storage sheds if you dont have place set up when you sell. We had a hard time finding storage in between moves. Just a thought...

It's a slow week for us, we've got some new equipment/shelving in bound. So we're doing some re-arranging and winter cleaning before that happens. Setting ourselves up for future success. Letting the ocd bug run rampant.

 

Morning all (lunchtime now) been dealing with crap. Long story ish wife had a uncle killed in wwll in France, about 7 years ago a group out of France that does metal detection found his dog tags and sent them to my wife, she got them to her aunt and about 2 years ago the aunt said she wanted the dog tags to go back to my wife. Fast forward to this week her aunt is in her 90s and called and said she was sending her uncles Purple Heart and letter with case she has had for the last 65-70 yrs, well her daughter forgot to send the tracking numbers and we got it only to find out they were sent usps and they put it in the mail box on the 12 of December, and they were stolen, so had to file a report with sheriff and then postal inspector. Then my wife had to tell her aunt which didn’t go over well. Such a crappy thing. We can get the replacement but this was the one they received for his service funeral here in the states. He was buried in France. Hate these dam thief’s and hate the fact now postal is such a target. Need Jim hardy and wells Fargo to take care of the investigation

 

Sorry to hear this. America needs to crack down on this type of behavior.

 

That absolutely sucks man.

 

I've got some places I could put some of my bigger stuff if need be, could store some of the smaller stuff here at work if need be as well. Hopefully we can have it where we can leave some in the shop there until we can move it, I don't think it would be a problem with this guy. He's not wanting to move in right away, I don't think.
