    Alright let's see em.
    I've got a 99' looking for inspiration.

I've had the relocation to the side marker (always leaked) painted new ones. Might put a bright led flush mount in.

Seen the fabbed ones srq sells
    https://www.srqfabrications.com/store/01-04-Tacoma-Amber-Turn-Signal-Filler-Panels-p187782069
Could make my own in that spot but my hoops get in the way of all but probably 2 lights.

thought about running a sequential under the front. Maybe between the hood and Headlight. Seems like it would get crushed before failing.

found a thread putting lights into the mirror might be a cool option for visibility. Get the light out to the side more. All the new ones have these but I doubt it could be retrofitted without some serious bonds fiberglass work.

Thought about possibly getting some small amber pods to mount below the ditch light brackets. Seems like a bit much though.

    Edit:
Found these for late 1st gens. Not a bad price considering what you get. Curious on the quality and life.

So... let's see what everyone's done/got/ideas and part links

I’ve considered it for if I ever build a front bumper. Plan for me is to electronically use the corners instead of hacking in an extra bulb.

    Go on...
    How would you do this?

Right now I've not pulled the blinker bulb housing but do like my amber led marker. If I could make it blink without tapping another hole that would be nice and easy.

    Something like this:
    https://www.etrailer.com/Custom-Fit...CsbxG2UIxttl-m7RNX5Wcw1-QxHGAXUAaAqRWEALw_wcB

Basically the tail input would be the original bulb, then the turn input would be turns from the bumper. Anytime the turn is on, the output for that side will go off, allowing it to blink with the flasher.

I have a similar module wired up to run my tails.

    Interesting.
Why wouldn't you be able to just have both 12volt trigger wires run to the same light? Or I'm guessing it would only work when the lights aren't on no?!

Exactly. It would be fine if your headlights weren’t on, but once the headlights are on then it would never blink.

now if you had a dual filament bulb and the socket for it, then you could do that.

Why ya gotta make things so simple?

Thinking of putting a flush mount led below the current hole. Maybe a dual intensity one.

Some good options for all sorts of applications.

Site also has some additional interesting modules that might be fun and easy to use for other applications.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I just installed Amber Led lights on my front bumper that work as a parking light and turn signal .

The down side you can have 10 turn signal lights and the distracted drivers still never see them.

Thought about this also. Can always weld the hole up if I don't like it. Likely more concerned with the bumper getting used and removing the light. But if it's inexpensive it's a small price to pay for fun IMHO

If it was not snowing I would take a picture.

I just used oval amber lights in Grote brackets The lights might have from any of the online led light vendors .

I bought from so many the last 10 years.

This is just some Grote numbers light #54143 pigtail# 66844 bracket #43362 grommets #92140

Just to give you some idea so many vendors selling LED lights and support products.

I like products I can purchase anyplace rather then fancy lights that need special ordered.

When your miles from home and a light fails .

    Good Luck !!

Totally understand. Yeah it's a balmy 60° here

I was more curious about light output. You can find so many online but having quality light output is more my curiosity.

Thanks for the numbers, I and anyone else seeing this do appreciate the contribution.

Yeah, proprietary has its pitfalls. I do like the built in dual intensity but it's hard to find any that do that vs another controller (but, this might be a better route to just tap into my current marker)

Lot of options to ponder. Appreciate your input.
