I have a 2020 Tacoma TRD and will be needing new tires soon. I don’t off road and most of my driving is on the highway. I do travel down the occasional rough dirt or gravel road. Just needed the 4 wheel drive to get to work when we have ice and snow. So I want a tire that wears well, good on snow and in the rain, and gives a quiet ride on the highway. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

I've had my KO2'S for 10k miles and would not recommend but they do look good haha. Heard good things about Falken A/T's

If you're looking for something not quite as expensive check out the Cooper Discoverer AT3. I put a set on my truck recently and they have very good traction in the rain and the muddy lot at the dump. Haven't tested them in the snow/ice yet, but I bet they'll do fine. They're more aggressive than the Michelin's, but are not noisy at all. My set cost me $780 out the door.

Nah, at least go with an AT.

Wildpeak will do everything you asked about, cost less and look better.

Love my Duratracs as they're the most aggressive of the A/T tires, but probably not the best choice for mostly Highway driving. My 2nd choice would be the less aggressive Wildpeaks, as a good all around A/T tire.

If you just want a Highway tire that can handle winter "and" a dirt road, you should chose a tire that comes with the 3 peak snow designation.

3 peak.jpg You mentioned "ice and snow". Look for tires that are 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake Rated. The 3-peak mountain snowflake rating indicates that the tire is approved by the Rubber Manufacturer’s Association as meeting the minimum requirements for performance in severe snow conditions. You can find the 3PMSF rating on both all-season and all-terrain tires, as long as they meet the testing criteria.
Tires with this symbol provide superior winter performance and traction on ice and heavy snow in comparison to tires without the rating. Keep in mind, this testing only measures a tire’s acceleration traction on medium snow – not braking and turning, or ice traction. It's difficult to find AT's that will do it all.

I'm running BFG KO2's. I still get about 19 mpg on the highway and they are amazing in snow! They've served me well.....

    Michelin Defenders are quieter !

I would not trade my Toyo Open Country AT III's, but in your case I would buy the Michelins and never look back.
