I doubt it gets there this week , is in route to the Logistics park. From there it needs to get on another train to Princeton, after that it needs to get on a Semi to the dealership.

I can finally add to this thread! Received my 2023 TRD Offroad Access cab/long bed 6M tonight.

Placed an order back in mid-October thinking it was going to take 8 months. Visited a few dealerships, most said it was a rare truck and would take 8 months if I was lucky. Sales folks at the one I ended up going with said there was an exact match of the truck I wanted in another province (even the colour), they could secure it via trade etc... walked out thinking they might have been blowing smoke, either way I'd be happy though. It's a very highly rated and high volume dealership for Toyota trucks at least for Canada. And they weren't super pushy about Canadian dealer markups (all the addons), although i didn't try to negotiate less than msrp.

An update a week later said there was a delay, it would arrive by the end of January, and weren't able to provide a VIN. Here we go I thought. They were totally not blowing smoke though, got a call on Saturday saying it had arrived and picked it up after work tonight.

A few days before Christmas, merry Christmas to me I guess. Also it is -41C (-42F) with the windchill here right now an hour after getting home with it. Was wondering if I could roll with the stock OR tires (the Goodyear Kevlar ones) during the winter. The answer is a resounding no, it needs proper snow tires up here. Unless I'm just not used to driving trucks with empty beds?

Anyways, it's a crazy time at work right now so really nice to have this happen for me at the time it did. I hope there's a bunch of you out there who get the same call I did soon. Either the wait times are coming down or I got extremely lucky.

Congratulations and enjoy your new truck. Yes, common experience with these trucks and snow covered roads. Weight in the back for sure. Dedicated snow & ice tires as well. Some say this truck is not as good as a full size pickup in the snowy roads due to them weighing less.

Thanks, really excited. Didn't want to start a whole debate over snow tires as I've been lurking a while now and have seen many threads on it. That was just the first thing that jumped out at me on my way home and something I was trying to gauge. Thanks for the advice, I'll toss some sandbags from work in the back tomorrow and see how big of a difference there is. To be fair the road conditions are probably about as bad as they can get, not a bad test environment actually.
