I'm not what you call the most experienced with cars & trucks but I can work my way around the hood. I was looking around and couldnt find how the grill(s) latch onto the vehicle..

I'm sure its the same for a 2008 as well, but does anyone have any installation guides? I will be getting the grille next week, was just trying to figure out how to install it before I get it so I can pop it in with ease.

    Thanks!

What grille are we talking about? Billet grille or OEM grille?

Really to take the grill out is just unbolting 2 bolts lef and right and lift it straight up but do not give it to much force you can damage the bottom point that goes in, me thinking im Hercules did just that lol.

    It's a black billet grille.

I'm hoping it will fit considering it says on the website "2005+", I don't think there are any body changes from 2005-2008 to the 2009 are there?

    It will fit just fine...
You just have to take out the top 2 bolts and there might be a couple little plastic clips (I don't remember) and then you're golden

Blehh.. not a big fan of cutting. A small miss-cut and I could ruin a hundred or so dollar grille.

I know I am late here on this, but besides the two bolts, the two push pins, I had to give it a good jerk upwards. It has that pointed piece at the bottom center, and it needs to clear the hole before removal.

just a little issue.... that is just the insert you ordered not the entire grill assembly. You will HAVE to cut the black plastic (top section and bottom section) of the main grill assembly. if you dont feel comfortable doing it, i would findsomebody who can, or just resell the insert to somebody on the site here......

ps. i didnt want to cut, but i figured what the hell..... if i mess up, itll just look no better than a ford

I got the billet part of the grill installed. It's running a bit late tonight so i'll save the bumper and hoodscoop inserts for this weekend or tomorrow.

Here's what I've got so far.

I had to cut out the original grill and drill some holes to secure this puppy in. Wasnt hard at all, i made a nic in the side of the housing, but nothing visible, i'll probably cover it up with some black putty and sand it down to look good.
