    talked to RSI, they sent me a pic of the latch covers for winter. coming 2023 as well I'm on the waitlist to replace the lock mechanism that opens from inside.

    I was lucky enough to get a tour of their new facility in Fort Worth. They were kinda weird about photos, because they had prototypes around the shop, so I didn’t take any.
    Let me tell you guys, they over engineer every little thing they do on these caps. It’s insane. The new factory is basically all robotic, and will be pumping out an even better product than the one in South Africa. They’re hoping to start running this thing full steam around the first of the year.

    Some Mods
    They should put some emphasis on their customer service details. I’ve needed some replacement hardware for the table mount for a month and they keep sending the wrong stuff.

    Can’t wait to see the new latches, The current latches are complete crap, even with covers they will still freeze, both the key and spring mechanism won’t open.

    From what I understand they aren’t doing anything from here aside from warehousing as of yet. They’ll soon have all US based customer service so hopefully it’ll make a difference. I did get to see the new latches and they are pretty damn sweet.
