    one huge con i have found years ago is it eats wipers for dinner.....dupont final detail is better and lasts twice as long

    I noticed it makes windshield more prone to chipping. Anyone else had that observation or experience?:eek: I agree it works great though.

    I bought that Rain-X windshield washer fluid and it actually does the same thing except continuously applied and doesn't take any elbow grease to put on.

    i use the 2 in 1 washer and rain X. it works good! and it was like $3 something at wally world.

    I've been using Rain-X ever since I moved from Phoenix. Growing up there meant I never had to use my wipers. Finally, in the odd chance I did have to use them after a few years of sitting idle, they wouldn't work anyways. So I have to drive with the wipers on, just drives me nuts. I've been using Rain-X for over fifteen years. I don't see how it can ruin your wipers, but then I never use mine so I couldn't tell you otherwise. Still, you wipe it on and then buff it off till the glass is clear. So long as you are going above 25, rain just blows away. :)

    Doesn't hurt when it comes to snow and bugs either.:eek:
