Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Wait a minute.. you shop at Kroger?

 

Theres 2 here, 90% time go there, 8% walmart, 2% IGA

 

I'd do a whole lot of unmentionables to get a Wegman's here...

Stuck with Food Lion and Martins/Giant, bout it here in the 'sticks

 

Well.. you know over in the HW thread where we talk about Kroger exclusives... and how there's not Krogers around here... and WTF is IGA?

 

Im usually distracted/on mission to get my food items to go by to look at hotwheels
. IGA is another chain food shopping. We had them in Oregon growing up.

 

Maybe I need to get out more

A lot of us would kill for a Market Basket (w accent Mahket Basket) up in these parts. Closest is about 1.5 hours away. If you visit New England, it’s where you want to go.

 

IGA = Independent Grocer`s Association

A group of small independent store owners that might have 2 or 3 stores.

Grouped together for purchasing power.

Many of them have since been bought out by the bigger chains.

 

We don't have a Wegman's here, so anytime I go visit my folks back in VA, or my corporate HQ for work in NY, I have to go get my fill.

 

Since Wegman`s built the warehouse in High Ridge you might see one down your way maybe !

Better then being serviced out of Rotten Chester NY.

 

Cart always goes back no matter how far I am from the corral. It may just be a phase, but my daughter currently enjoys taking the carts back and straightening them up and nesting them all together.

 

A green Cummins is just so wrong!!

Carts go back, no matter what. If there is a cart guy out and about close by I'll roll it over to him.

 

Depends where you live many people think it is beyond them to return shopping carts.

it is a learned behavior Grandma and Mom leave the cart right where it is unloaded most times in the middle of a parking space

 

SMH. My grandma returned her cart till the day she died. Learned behavior.

 

Shopping cart poll: 98% of the time I put it in the cart return.
