Did you end up needing to trim anything in rear for clearance?

Just the fenders. I had to do a bigger spacer for my shock relocation.

I didnt traditionally tub but I hammered everything as if I did. Tubing is the better option less damage <unless you catch your truck on fire>

Between long travel, tons of caster, and hammering back the pinch weld mine didn’t rub on the street unless I was full reverse.

Off road was okay as long as I didn’t turn too sharp when the suspension was compressed. Absolute full compression they’d hit the top of the wheel wells too.

Tubbing is really the only real solution. I don’t know how people fit 37’s without it.

I've been following your build for a while now, it's pretty sick. I was looking on ur build thread but couldn't find info if you did tub or not. Im most likely going to end up with a JD fab LT kit so it pushes my front end forward a lil bit. Not sure how much that helps tho

Anyone that wants to keep their suspension travel and actually fit their 37s has to tub

Not yet. I could sort of get away with it with my old 37’s I just had to be careful.

Now that I have 38’s they don’t even really work on road (steering is very limited). So I’m in the process of tubbing now. It’s my daily and I don’t have a garage so I’m limited to driveway and day light only - so weekends during winter. First step is relocate the battery which you probably saw started. That should
be done this weekend then I can finally start chopping. :D

Or use a sledge to the point it would have been easier/cleaner to tub as in my case.

What’s going on with the grill. Some super high clearance bumper or something? I checked your profile pic and it’s not chopped like that there.

Any update on the red Tacoma or plans for it? Been thinking about it recently.
