I tried that many times, the correct way that is. If I also had eyeball extensions, placing the eyeballs 25' or more off the right-side of the vehicle near the ditch just hovering the grass, it may have worked. But instead, I was blinded each time. It's just some of the vehicles, I've seen about 10 or so of these lights around my town, almost like their brights were on.

Looks a little green from the pic.

Having a 6000k+ led with a selective yellow film will show green.

Would be better with a 5000k led

this truck will replace the nissan. fed up with its constant problems.

 

there will be very few of these made for 2023 ive been told. dealer said blue crush in a manual has already been discontinued and new orders have a 10+ month backlog and all 3rd gen production will be done by then.

 

Yeah I agree some leds out there are pushing 8000 lummins

 

Not a Gen 3, but still cool say this on vacation in Aruba. A nice, clean old school Hilux.

 

The Halogen reflector is tuned for a halogen bulb, when you install an LED in a Halogen reflector it screws up the light reflection because it's not mated together

 

When I got mine last year, 22 ORAC LB automatic it was was only available in 3 colors. Not sure if you order the premium package you get more color choices

Love mine. Had them from day one. Help keep road grime, rocks and debris off the side of the truck. At 5’-11” it’s a little more difficult for me getting in and out of the driver seat. They act as a bit of a barrier. Not really usable to use as a step for getting in and out.

 

there is only one package with these. not really any options to even have it just is what it is. there are (or was) 4 colours. black, white, grey, blue crush. i really wish toyota let us canadians have the led headlight upgrade but were stuck with halogens unless buying a pro or limited
