That's why I'm trying to find out what happened here. They're usually really fast.

 

I won't shop with them again. I ordered a few things from them; a Raptor grille with lights, TOYOTA grille emblems, TRD grille emblem, Badging Blackout overlays, Bumper covers and TACOMA tailgate inserts.

1. Prior to the items shipping I realized the grill wouldn't work with TSS, so I emailed them and they said it had already shipped but I could return them when they arrived. 3 days later I got the email saying it shipped.
2. The bumper covers didn't ship with the order. I realized this about a week after they shipped the other parts, and I asked them to cancel the covers since I could get them on ExtremeTerrain much faster, instead of doing so I was told "Hey we just realized they were out of stock so we contacted Bumpershellz and they'll ship one!" I had to clarify that I no longer wanted them as I had other covers already at this point.
3. The parts arrive and I ship all my items back ($90 to ship since they don't offer free returns); Grille, TOYOTA Logo, TRD Badge, TACOMA Tailgate Inserts (59.99 on their site but 13.99 on Amazon), and the Blackout Overlays (49.99 on their site, 15.99 on Amazon) and yes, I compared both products and they are the EXACT same thing; in fact the TACOMA inserts from Amazon were better quality.
4. They only refunded the return for the grille despite me asking for a full refund. On 14OCT22, I sent an email asking what was up with not getting the full refund, and only getting a refund for the grille. It's now 21OCT and I haven't heard from them. I'm having to go through my credit card company to try and get my money back.

TL;DR: Company took my money and didn't return it when I returned their products. Go on Amazon or ExtremeTerrain and save yourself the hassle. Tacome Lifestyle doesn't meet the standards that a company should abide by.

 

I think we should put it to a vote to remove TacomaLifestyle as an official sponsor on this forum.

 

I wish I would have read this BEFORE I placed an order with them. So far the lack of response has been short, but I feel like I’ll be waiting a while to hear anything from them. I placed an order early last week and it’s still “confirmed” but no info on if/when it will ship. I figured two weeks before Christmas would be an adequate amount of time to get it here before Christmas. Maybe not, but giving the customer updates when they spend hundreds of dollars (I’m sure thousands for some people) is probably an area they should improve on. This is my first purchase with them. How they choose to handle it will determine if it’s my last.

 

Ditto, and I found this thread after ordering from them. In-stock DD SS3's, purchased, waited 5 days for shipping confirmation and got nothing so reached out and Truman said it'd be another 2 weeks before they shipped. Asked that they cancel the order, which they did and issued refund same day. How can it take 2-3 weeks to ship something that's already packaged up? I told them I didn't expect Amazon-level shipping, but this is absurd.

Ended up buying the lights from another vendor, had them in 4 days.

I appreciate that they canceled/refunded promptly. Knowing that orders just sit == will not buy from them, however.

 

I have nothing but positive experiences with the 5 purchases I’ve done with them. Matter of fact, each time, Truman matched his own price for me on two items that went on sale after I bought them. He refunded me the difference, and responds to my emails within a day or so. I’ve bought bumpershellz thru him, and I’m sure he’s just the middleman for them on his site.
They’re solid, I wouldn’t hesitate buying from them again.
“Major” things I bought from them recently: Alpharex Luxx tails and DD SS3 fogs. No issues and shipped to me within a few days.

Still haven't heard anything back from @Cora17 though. We'd like to make sure everything got fixed and situated.

 

I've also had good experiences on multiple orders but I've never tried to return/replace anything. My last order at the beginning of December shipped a bit slower than previous orders but wasn't anything drastic.

 

I ordered the textured black Bumpershellz through Tacoma Lifestyles during their Thanksgiving sale. Emailed them last week for an update since I had heard nothing since placing the order and they said it should be shipping this week. Still no shipping confirmation, but I am holding out hope all will go well. Until seeing this thread on TW today, I had only heard good thinks about Tacoma Lifestyles.

I don't like hearing that! I know we just made some TPO Tacoma Rears the other day and I'm fairly certain we shipped them out this week. I'll personally look into this for you. I'm going to send you a private message so I can get some additional details.

The painted bumper covers from Amazon and fleabay are solid options too. I bought a set and although they're a tad bit darker on color the quality is good.

 

I second this completely. I ordered raptor lights and a TRD pro grill for my wife's 4Runner from 4RunnerLifestyle and I messed up the wiring harness and when I emailed them to request a new harness at my expense they just sent me a whole new kit including raptor lights for free. No questions asked.

 

I recently made an order with them, one of many over the past couple years. One of the smaller items(just a decal) was damaged. They replaced it without much of a hassle. They did request that I send them a pic of the damage, which I did. Sent a new one out right after that. The initial response did take 2 business days, but it is that time of year. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.
