Get em', the build quality is awesome. I live in an area where roads are heavily salted and these haven't showed one speck of rust. Very easy to install and mount things too. IMG_2282.jpg

Yep, I used Malone J hooks (I actually have them up for sale now in a different thread if you’re interested) and they attached with the normal brackets that came with them. I just had to get some longer bolts from Home Depot to account for the thickness of the BillieBars.

Here’s a link to the items I’m selling.

Let me see if I have any closer pics of the BillieBars set up, I no longer have them because I needed more space in the bed so I had to get a shell. It was a very tough choice parting with the BillieBars because they were great.

@TacoNonspecialist I checked and I don’t have any other pics that give a closer view of the setup, sorry.

    Hey @SatlyPartiot408

I’m trying to get the Billie bars on my bakflip like yours but the bracket is causing the bakflip rail to pop up about 1/8-1/4”. See pics. Did you have to trim the bed liner anywhere or the bakflip rubber?

    Many thanks

    Hi @BillieBars

please see post #35. Can you advise what I can do to help reduce that gap?

Hey is that the mx4 cover? Just want to be sure here. It should sit pretty flat, but its hit or miss on some bakflip covers for trimming. You could also always add a little weather-stripping there. Shoot us a DM if you want also!

    hi @BillieBars

yea it is the mx4. I’m going to try and reseat the bracket and bakflip rail again but from your experience, when it’s a miss, where is the trimming required?

I did trim about 3/8” of the bottom of the bed lining to allow the aluminum brackets to ride higher up.

the main issue I have is not that it the rail sits higher but also that the rail does extend out on the bed lining. It’s about 1/3” closer to the center of the bed which makes closing or getting the bed back on the rails.

    Hi @BillieBars

also are their specific instructions for the bakflip? Like what goes in first, second, etc? I can’t find any videos online. That may help better align things

We actually just installed another bakflip cover on a bed the other day - and we still have it in the shop! We can snap some pictures with everything installed and videos then. Shoot us a DM or email so we can send them over. We can also chat on the phone or even facetime when we are around it?

We slid the brackets in loosely, with the track rail/bakflip relocation mounts off, then tightened everything down. Our plan is do get a detailed video and documentation of it after the holidays here!
