2* coming into work and only supposed to get colder + wind chill advisory. Snowing light flakes on the way in. IDK what it is, but seems like when weather is bad everyone gets in the fast lane and drives 20 under.

It's the thawing that we worry about.

Good morning guys. Have a great Thursday and get your storm prep done early.

They say it will be 60 here today before the bottom falls out. I’m headed out to do those strange, archaic yankee things like disconnect garden hoses, drip the well pump pressure tank, cover the hose bibs, bring hanging baskets into the garage

Those pesky falling iguanas lol. They have us down into the teens Saturday morning. What are they predicting for central FL?

How did we ever survive without daytime running lights, cabin air filters and airbags?:confused::confused:

    Fun fact:
I used scissors to cut the seatbelts out of my first 2 vehicles because they had those big ol clunky metal buckles that were uncomfortable to sit on. :anonymous:

I disconnected the hoses but not worried about covering hose bibs. That's for long term below 32. Here in SC it will only be one day where it won't hit above freezing.

My dad always told me "it won't freeze on the 1st night". Not sure if he was right or not, depends on how cold it gets I reckon.

Ahh the joys of home ownership. They said it would be great...

Pffft... apparently they haven't bought a house that hadn't been really updated since 1965...

Single or a team many times over the years.

A few times in Wyoming a heavy team feeding cattle. hang the reins over over the seat the horses knew just where to go.

I venture now it is all done with engine driven equipment and huge round bales.

Back in the seventies with Rock ski`s we would go for miles through fields .

Did it pulling friends with horses as well.

We don`t talk about the Red wagon in the summer .

I have one on the shop that stays on all winter and doesn't freeze. I keep the shop at about 40F when I'm not in it. The tap just pokes through the wall, so I guess the line stays warm enough. :notsure:

A few shop managers in Jacksonville Florida might disagree with that statement .

Saving Pennies not running enough antifreeze to protect from freezing cracked blocks tend to get expensive on truck engines.

This was in the Later eighties after all it never gets that cold.
