How’s the inner fender? You think you’ll be cutting spot welds for the repair or just reshaping as needed?

    New Tacoma at the junkyard.

Judging by the VIN, it has the parts I want.

Of course it shows up when we have subzero temps, and of course it's in the premium section.

No, thanks be to the gods. If I couldnt eat ice cream and cheese at will then it would be hard to get through each day

Need to build that tolerance up

It stayed much warmer than expected overnight here. Was 8F when I went to start the van, which must be the happiest 7.3 as it started right up like it was summer. Friends in Bozeman are experiencing -50F with the wind-chill this morning

You work at a dealer, can't you get a new fender for a good deal? Or did they discontinue those. They still sell ours, or at least they did a few years ago

Yeah those are TRD headers. Price is actually good if they're complete, someone here was selling them for $1200 recently. Hard to find the TRD ones nowadays. Since that new truck of yours is boosted they would actually be of some benefit plus they sound good imo.

If he takes $300 you'd be lucky AF, if indeed it's a complete kit. Make sure they aren't cracked or anything

Yeah it’s crazy out there. Interstate wasn’t bad here but side roads were slick

We've luckily not had much moisture so it's cold and some areas of black ice but roads are relatively clean here. Part of me is happy as it makes life easier, the other part of me enjoys the cold when it is snowy.

Yeah we’re getting plenty of snow. I love it, but I’m also headed home for Christmas, so I won’t get to enjoy it.

I love the quiet of a snowy day.

Was looking at a map of the huge cold front hitting the country and of course over here we're the only small area in the green zone with a warm front moving in. 83° Xmas here we come lol

That happened to me some time ago, I didn't do it on purpose but when you marry a vegetarian it sort of happens. I eat mostly chicken/turkey now when I do eat meat, the occasional burger once in awhile. But I can't eat it every day anymore or I'll regret it.

Yeahhh that checks out. I've been eating primarily vegetarian at home for the last year. I had a bison burger the other night and it was a whole saga of bubblegut and pain lol

Oof yeah bison is good but that's like beef x5 lol. We used to sell bison burgers at the joint I worked at as a kid, got to make then once in awhile. Also ostrich burgers which were surprisingly good

Everything seems to behave differently when it's very cold and very snowy. Everything sounds different, the ground feels different and things just a different in ways I don't know how to articulate. It's kinda magical since it's something that I rarely experience these days, a novelty. I'm sure after a few weeks of it it though would not be enjoyable.

    Have a safe trip!
