The brown truck dropped off my new header this evening. The box was not damaged and all the parts were thoroughly bubble wrapped. After removing all the bubble wrap, the quality of the header is first rate, the welds are uniform and the ceramic coating was even throughout the header. My lovely spouse even noticed the quality of the welds (she trained long ago as a welder). I true engineering work of art. The gasket kit is OEM Toyota parts. My only problem is getting time to install and the cold temperatures, it might be a month or two.

Nope that one doesn't work with the 2nd gen. Search for "2tr" on LCE's site and you'll find the header.

Nice. I hear the install is straight forward except a few had trouble with the spring bolts on the downpipe flange being tough to get off. It has only been a few winters for you and this is what I will be faced with in a year or so. Nothing a little PB can't take care of I'm sure.

I'm not to concerned about the removal of the old manifold, the truck has only 14000 miles on it and hasn't seen any significant amount of salt. The bolts are probably still shiny.

There's always some trepidation when purchasing an aftermarket part, does the picture match what I'm purchasing? The picture online doesn't do this header justice.

Did you notice a fair amount of increase in Power? Torque? I am looking into getting one.

a little torque down low, you can def notice it but it doesnt seem like a lot but its the horsepower that really shines! If you were to floor it from 1500 rpms, around about 3000 it feels like you just floored it, its a pretty noticable difference, and i love the sound of them too! I got a K&N cai and between the both of them its really loud! only at full throttle though, not just cruising

If LC Engineering would post photos like yours on their website, I think more people would be willing to pony up the cash. LC's website is decent but having only one mediocre photo for marketing such a wonderful product isn't helping it fly off the shelf.

They can't put a website together to save their lives, but they can build the shit out of a header!
